Are we getting the trainer lock dragonite this set?
Yes since it was is Thunder Knuckle it'll most likely be in Plasma Freeze

But they could still hold it for future sets. Some of the cards in Plasma Storm were from Japan's equivalent of our Boundaries Crossed set.

Only Skyla... OH! I thought you meant the other way around

No problem, you could keep terrakion but remember that it takes two turns to set him up since you have no energy acceleration to him so your opponent will see it coming. I personally would recommend maybe a few fighting energy and energy switch but maybe it wouldn't work...I haven't done any testing since boundaries crossed came out - I realized that playing the tcg was too time consuming and expensive (especially in Canada) if you want to get to worlds. On top of that, worlds will be in my backyard in Vancouver but it's on a weekend that I have to be in Ontario so I can't try my luck in the grinder...no luck here....:(

Using the confirmed 14 cards, people who speculate what'll be in new sets determined that things would work out perfectly number-wise for the entirety of Plasma Freeze to be Thunder Knuckle/Spiral Force + the Team Plasma Gift Set (minus the two full arts). So it's extremely likely that nothing's going to be held back for the August set.

I am attending a Pre Release on May 4th, set list looks nice at the moment but I do hope they have the Dragonite in. Wonder what the Pre Release promo will be :)

I think it's gonna be Metagross seeing as how Japan had some sort of promo for it (iirc) similar to Crobat, and that Metagross has already been revealed.
I'm also hoping to go to a prerelease depending on whether I'm busy or not. *FA deoxys/thundurus pls*

Speaking of Deoxys EX, I think that the usage of enhanced hammer will rise rapidly to limit its usage (because without plasma energy, the dreaded helix force will only do 30 damage (excluding its ability)).

That's why you run it with Thundurus. Hammers hardly even hurt for one turn with things like Colress Machine; they're completely recyclable with Thundurus. That's one of the reasons why Plasmabox is going to be so good.

True, I didn't even read Thundurus's attacks to be honest, that's how long I've been out of the game for haha. I personally still love darmaxitan/eels since I can still beat tier 1 decks with it.

I am so sick of the Kami Trio. Just go AWAY. I'd like to pretend they never happened in Pokemon history, but they keep shoving them down our throats in every set.

Try to look at my list, fits perfectly :)

Assuming this list is correct, that means the Japanese Plasma Electrode Promo will not see an English release! Which is good news for me because then I would have to get one for each European language haha

Who thinks that the expensive Thundurus and Deoxys EX will be worth the money?

Oh they will, the speed and consistency of them is just too good.

How do you think Jolteon will fair? it's move, I think would be pretty good.

If the Defending Pokémon is a Pokémon-EX, the Defending Pokémon can't attack during your opponent's next turn.
I could see it paired with deoxys (for more damage as well as a counter to fighting types).
