I like Hayes for sort of the same reason, but also that one of my friends is a descendant of him.

it's also probably because he didn't do anything good and is consistently ranked as one of the worst presidents in US history, often barely beating out Andrew Johnson, James Buchanan, and Warren G. Harding.
 
Lincoln because he held the country together

although I like the president (I think it was Raegan?) who someone attempted to assassinate, failed, and the president just laughed it off like it was a joke. That is pretty legit.

Although JFK is pretty cool too.
