...Aha; that explains why I haven't heard of it. I didn't go researching dialogue behind the 3 final events - I was only aware of their existence.
Interesting tidbit...hmm...something else to add to the table of theory formulation.

I looked this up on Bulbapedia--the P2 Laboratory was the site of Genesect experiments, and the scientist's name who continued with Genesect against N's wishes is named Dudley.

You get this information with the event item that would unlock it.

I don't know how Bulbapedia knew it, but I saw that same story. It's all true. That also makes Genesect the only Pokemon that was revive from a fossil that's not at least part rock-type. I wonder if the TCG will have it as a revived Pokemon...
