XY What Current Pokémon / Moves Would You Like To See Changed into a Fairy-type? Why?

Confuse Ray, Attract, Captivate, Lovely Kiss, Sweet Kiss, Wish, Gravity

But some of those Pokémon are already Dual-typed. GF can't just change Togetic to Fairy/Flying or Normal/Fairy.

Moves on the other hand... I agree with most of the moves you mentioned, but how are Confuse Ray and Gravity Fairy-like in any way?

What's so bad with replacing Normal type? If it fits the Pokemon better than its current typing (Toge-line would fit a Fairy type a lot more than Normal type) then it should be changed. And if it's replacing Normal, its nothing too major.
The only dual-typed mons that I really disagree with changing are the legendaries. (maybe with the exception of Jirachi) I mean look, Celebi is cleary both a Grass and a Psychic type. No need to change. Same with Victini. Manaphy/Phione could maybe be changed.

replacing a Normal type should be perfectly fine, as its represents the non-specialisation for any particular element.

Re: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

Would be quite weird for a Pokémon to go from weak to Fighting to not... I suppose Magnemite and co. gained new weaknesses and resistances but that was only after one gen...

I reckon it would make more sense to keep the normal and gain the fairy type.

I don't see the problem with retyping. I see Togekiss being Fairy/Flying before Blissey does. Blissey would be very difficult to take down if it becomes Fairy type.

I can see how you'd think that some of these Pokemon would become Fairy type, but Porygon line, Beautifly, Absol, Cherrim and Gothitelle? Please explain!
I'm with you on the moves, except for Confuse Ray.

I think that Cherrim could stand to gain the fairy typing. I mean, look at it. It screams fairy. of course, there would be that pesky double weakness to Poison, but... oh well.

Fairy fits some Pokemon better than Normal or Psychic. I see no problem in replacing them wherever relevant.

I dont really see how it would be a big issue with Blissey gaining a Fairy typing or secondary Fairy typing. If Fairy is in fact going to be a real type addition, the meta would shift in such a manner, depending on the prevalence of strong 'mons of that type, and therefore a lot of teams would just tech in a Poison type or typed move to combat anything of that type.

If the rumors are true, Fairy is poised to become a very competitive typing. Especially considering the current ideology of Poison and Steel type moves being completely worthless, barring Toxic of course.

EDIT: Honestly at this point, if the Fairy information somehow turns out to be false- I personally am going to be very disappointed. All the opportunities that have been presented based on if this type exists have actually gotten me very excited. The possibilities of Pokemon designs (especially a Dullahan, since an armored knight-esque Pokemon is like my top want) based around the type itself are so numerous, it would bring a nice fresh feel to the games themselves and the competitive scene as well.

If Fairy-type is real, I can't see the Blissey line not changing. Blissey looks very fairy-like to me.

RE: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

I didn't say that Blissey isn't likely to change, I meant that Togekiss line is more likely (IMO) than the Blissey line (because of Blob's post which said that it wasn't likely to change typing). The other sentence meant that Blissey would be hard to take down not impossible or that it would hurt the meta more than it would help it.

Fairy seems like it would be good (at least some Pokemon) because of Blissey and Togekiss being big contenders.

I see where you're coming on these, but Deoxys? Can you please explain that one, I can't see it as a Fairy type at all

To add to your list..

-Celebei (Or however you spell it, too lazy to look to up)
-Maybe Azurill line
-Manaphy
-Victini
-The Lake Trio
-Mew, maybe

I don't think the Azurill line should be Fairy, they are perfect as pure water. I think Celebi, The Lake Trio, Jirachi, and Audino should be in the list ;)

Azurill has always reminded me of a fairy of sorts.

Yeah, it reminds me too, but only Azulrill... Marill and Azumarill not...
Azulmarill is one of my favorite Pokémon, i don't think it looks lika a Fairy haha

RE: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

I disagree with Celebi. Its perfect as a Psychic/Grass. Same with Victini, that's a perfect Psychic/Fire type.

I'm generally against legendaries being retyped (Jirachi is possibly the one exception). I mean its not that much of a huge deal on, say Togepi. But legendaries are different. Lets say Celebi is retyped. How would they explain that its STAB Psychic is suddenly not a STAB move anymore? And surely since its a time traveller Pokemon, Psychic seems like the most obvious fit.
And don't go givin me any Psychic/Fairy nonsense for Celebi. Its design screams Grass. It's design is also very Psychic-ey. The only possibility for that would be a design change, which won't happen and never will.

The only reason I'm putting Jirachi as an exception is because Steel doesn't really fit it as a type, and Fairy would suit it better.

I would add Mawhile, Chimecho, and Victini to this list and take Milotic, Luvdisc, Lilligant, and Alomomola off the list. I also think Blissey and Audino would be pure Fairy and Jirachi would be Steel/Fairy. I'm not sure about Volbeat, Illumise, Musharna, and Meloetta.

My only issue is that if Jirachi loses its Steel-typing, its signature move, Doom Desire, loses its STAB.
