BW/BW2 Pokemon Black and White U.S Names(guess)

The only ideas i really like our Shadow Arceus's. Everyone else is really just putting 2 names together for th sheer fun of it.
Portmateau (off spelling) is what its all about.
I want boaruption but emboar seems most likely.

Snivy, smugleaf. Every time someone says that, a mudkip dies, a mijumaru is slapped, and 3 tsuwhatsitcalleds die.
Doesnt even make any sense. Smug+leaf whoopdedoo.
Also darumape is perfect as is. Baboom-darumape
Shandera can be shadoleir (shadow+ chandelier). Seems to have more emphasis on being a ghost type with the fire aspect being the chandelier.

Janovy - Slyvine
Jalorda - Serplant (that name seems too... large for Tsutarja)

Pokabu - Pyroink
Chaoboo - Emboar
Enbuo (sp?) - Boarbeque

Mijumaru - Uh... Wotter? (Jeez, can ANYONE think of a good name for this one? D:)
Futachimaru - Clamurai (Ugh...)
Daikenki - Samurtide

Minezumi - Hypmunk
Miruhog - Meerhog (It's like a meerkat and a groundhog, soo... :x)

Choroneko - Sneakat (Haha...that's horrible xD)
Repardasu - Leopilferd (HAH, if you don't get this one, it's Leopard mixed with pilfer x3)

Yanappu - Moncolli (Who hasn't thought of this one? xP)

Hiyappu - Seemonk (X_X)

Munna - Tapink
Musharna - Sleepir

Ok somebody mentioned Snivy; rampage time. Snivy is a horrible name. You just took half the name of one word and put it in front of another. Pokemon names aren't just two letters from one word put in front of another word, they are portmenteaus(I don't speak French so I'm not sure how to spell it) or puns. The ones that aren't are NOT random parts of words glued together.
 
I agree. Snivy is a awful name. But I think the worst name so far is mijumaru= Derpderp. Utter rubbish. And I bet Nintendo is gonna name mijumaru, derpderp but not name Tsujara, smugleaf.
 
Personally this is what i think....

Tsutarja ---- Snoot (snake and root)

Pokabu ---- Pokabu (keeps it's same name)

Mijumaru ---- Shelly (based of it's shell that it uses; same name concept as Seel)

I remember hearing someone mention Cubble as a name for Mijumaru, and tbh I am a huge fan of that name for some reason. Not exactly sure why.

Also, @ManhattantheStarr: I LOVE Moncolli for some reason, LOL. I'd be fine with that for Yanappu.

So your argument is... uh... kinda invalid...

Oh, and btw... VYPLANT? THAT'S only two letters of a word attached to another. What's your point?

Pokemon names can be anything. They can even be real words from the English vocabulary (Ditto, Electrode) or romanised Japanese (Pachirisu) or onomatopoeia (Mew), although I guess one can argue that thanks to whoever was the nut who decided pokemon can only vocalise their own names (in the anime at least), technically almost every pokemon's name is an onomatopoeia :p
 
Mijumaru: Shellpup (shell+otter pup, get it?) or Cubble (cub+bubble, cute but doesnt make sense)
Futachimaru: Ninjotter?
Daikenki: Samurtide

Pokabu: Pignite
Chaobuu: Pignition or Sumoswine?
Enbuo:Emboar or Boaruption (or something along those lines...Boarupt?)

Tsutarja: leafsnakewthidk
Janovy: i give up wit no... Ivyper is a better name for this than tsutarja
Jalorda:Forraconda or... Slitheroyl/Slithroyal(10 character limit... u know what the did with Feraligatr)

XieRH- all names are portmanteaus, or puns.
Ex. Torchic is torCH CHic
Ex. Milotic means calm and soothing.
You just didnt take the time to figure out the meanings behind it.
Also, ho-oh is the name for a japanese phoenix. Look it up before you make false facts.

Manhattan Star: Youre the one who needs to check the facts. (for everyone)
Portmateau: 2 words together with one letter shared. ie. Frostorm

It isnt just insert 2 words here people. Just being honest, not mean.
