I would offer to host C6, but I'm going to be gone on vacation for several weeks in Dec/Jan, and then hosting a WW game shortly after that. >_> So, uh, I guess if you're still looking for hosts around March or so...

It might be a good idea to keep werewolf threads stickied through N0, just because sometimes people can forget about them if there's no discussion happening (a.k.a night phases). However N0 is an even more extreme example, as no discussion had happened up to that point. It just ensures that all actions get in (or helps actions get in) if the thread is always in plain sight.

It's a fairly minor thing, I just think the benefits of this do warrant a policy change with the stickies.

We're not keeping WW threads stickied during Night 0 because it is immediately following the host's role PMs, so there's a nice notification for players about the game in their message centre regardless of whether the game thread is stickied or not.
And the game isn't going to drop to page 2 or anything like that, so it's still in plain sight too.

Out of somewhat curiosity...

Are items recommended in WW Games? I'm deciding if I should or shouldn't put them in my WW game I'm planning.

Items are a gimmick, and a pretty common gimmick, so it all depends. One of the main things you have to ask yourself is if you think it will actually improve the setup. Generally games with many weaker roles use items to make it more exciting for players with weaker roles, whereas games with many powerful roles miss them out.

Items can be fun if implemented correctly but can be game-breaking if implemented poorly, so it's your choice really.

Werewolf games can work well with or without items. Personally, I prefer Werewolf with items, but set ups without them can work perfectly fine.

We will open applications for Main Games if there are no more Main Games in the queue - same goes for Side Games. Currently, Side Games will have applications sooner than Main Games.

I mean, if you are just generally thinking about if you should use items or not, I say not. I mean, don't put in items for the sake of having items.

Yes we have a Skype group chat with a bunch of mods to win. :p

We type the number on Skype right after posting. This saves time, since we don't have to refresh the page. :D We're pros.

Out of curiosity, how many people have a FG idea planned and/or developing? Probably 'like' this post if you do so we don't annoy a few mods.

EDIT: Well... apparently I annoyed Drohn so :p, it is preferably that you post in a bit of detail. I've got a WW game currently being refined, I've got a story-based logic puzzle planned and a role-playing game planned. I've been active :D

I, for one, have a few *surprise*.

I'm still working on my WW game that I'll be hosting next year, and I have another game that finished and ready to go that I'll probably host sometime after that. Haven't been participating in or hosting anything lately because I've been crazy busy, but hopefully 2015 will be a good year.

Two ideas I thought up of for games

One- The "be unpopular or die" game. I didn't participate in this but it looked really fun. The point of the game is that the host lists four options in the thread, and each member participating has to send a PM to the host explaining their choice. The people that choose the most popular answer are eliminated. I haven't seen this game in a while and I'd like to see it again.

Two- This isn't really a game, just a really interesting idea I had. I have this game called NR2003 on my computer. It's an older NASCAR game but it's a ton of fun to play. The point is to make your own car or use a pre existing one to win races. However, it's based more like a sandbox game so I can simulate races and not run in them. I can also create cars. I was thinking of having entered members tell me what they want on their car (IE a blue #8 car with Regigigas on it). Once I got, say 12, people to enter I would create their cars, run 12 races, and post the results with pictures. The winner would be the driver with the most wins (This is a simulated single player game, FYI). In the event of a tie, a 13th race would be held with the people tied for most wins. All the entrants would do is tell me what they want their car to look like, sit back, and watch the results (If this became a game I wouldn't enter). All the cars will have the same stats so the results are basically randomized.

Tl, dr: You guys sign up, tell me what your car should look like, and I simulate races with your cars. The series winner is the entrant who has won the most races.

Any thoughts on these ideas?
