"An interesting preposition. I will consider that. Would it mean my own safety as well, or slavery, or death? Because I can just open up a portal for the group to leave. I always could and always can until I die. The Void was mainly testing how humans can cope in desolate environments. I have one final test for them."

"What?!" Ben muttered at Night mentioning 'the final test', just recovering from the Dark Pulse. "Okay Night, should I attack? But I have an idea first..." Ben then picks up Spiritomb and places it on his head. IT WAS A PLAN.

"Go ahead with this plan." Night shrugs, which is awkward for a dragon.

"Kay, kay. Zebstrika, Thunder! Samurott, Aqua Tail! Togekiss, Air Slash! Who cares! Just attack Darkrai everyone! Except for Spiritomb. I have a plan for you..."

Darkrai is overwhelmed at the sudden ambush. He raises a palm and Ben sees a vision of the future - what would be going on if they hadn't travelled back in time.
"This is what will happen if you go back to Insomnia."

The Future said:
Night hesitantly opens the portal between the two dimensions. He steps back, breathes a small, ghostly pant at it and the portal shimmers. It's a gaping purple hole, similar in texture and appearance to a lava lamp. The breath has caused pink blotches to spin uncontrollably. He watches them go - Ben, Dusk, Dark, Rahul... until it's just him left. He looks away, ashamed. He can't go back - a hybrid in the human world? Preposterous. Night's considered all sorts of solutions, but wherever he goes he's unwanted. Fuming, he dismisses the portal.
Meanwhile, in Insomnia, a storm is brewing. The sky is suddenly flashing with lightning. Zekrom glides from the sky and sends a bolt of electricity at the nearest house. He continues until he's sure that none of the residents are left, under Giratina's orders. The town that was once homely is now a wasteland.

The vision fades, and Ben is back in the Underworld again.

"That's what'll happen if you trust a hybrid. Do you really want this? If not, kill Night here and now."
"Ben, don't believe him!" Night interjects. "He can play with your mind. Go with your heart's decision. I'll understand whatever."
"As if you're the innocent one. I've seen places burn. I've seen best friends set apart. I've seen assassinations, bombings and massacres, and you insist that it's not your fault? You don't control distortion and the realm of ghosts, you are distortion! Everything caused by suffering in the world is down to you. Now, boy, who do you really believe?"

"No! I don't believe. Not at all. And don't kill Night! Kill me instead! Suck out my soul and use my own form against Night, I don't care. Just do whatever you want to me! I don't care!" BUT IT WAS A PLAN.

Robot, sorry for not responding to that. I've been both trying to get this RPG back into action and I've also been busy. I will continue the plot soon. As for thefleeee, U/E and BrOken, I can catch you up where necessary and get the ending more exciting. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks. In summary from what you missed, after Heatran was defeated, Night revealed a few secrets to Ben, the most crucial being that he is in fact a hybrid Giratina-human. Then he and Ben travelled to the Underworld to stop Darkrai (and Shadow Kira has appeared a few times as Darkrai). You can read the main important stuff from the last three pages to catch up to all you need, starting here.
Your latest mission is as follows (I know that some of you have already followed these instructions):

Basically, join Night and Ben in trying to destroy Darkrai. Then we're almost done. From there-on, there will be a final collision plus a graduation quiz and then we can end it. Any questions?

"A very tempting offer. I may see that one through."
He raises a palm and sends a Dark Pulse towards Ben, but Giratina flies into the way in his Origin Forme, taking the blast. He collapses to the floor, but fades away. The next second, he appears out of nowhere and Ben is on his back. He charges towards Darkrai, knocking him over.
"Would you like to leave, Ben, or shall we continue weakening him?"

"No... hurt... Night.. hurt.. me" Ben grunted, starting to get up. Spiritomb was no longer on his head, but stuck inside it's Keystone, over in a corner. So Darkrai or Night wouldn't notice, he slowly crawled to the corner with the Keystone, picked it up, and then threw it towards Darkrai, injuring him. As soon as it made contact, additionally Spiritomb popped out, attacking Darkrai.

Darkrai splutters desperately, poisoned by the toxic air. He is clearly in a great amount of pain and fighting for his life right now.
"You asked for it," he mutters.
A sea of black begins to fill the area. They're shadows, but they seem to be in a liquid form, engulfing Ben. A Weavile rises from the murk and slashes at Ben with amazing precision, causing a large, shallow scrape across the arm that seems to be minor, but will still hurt a lot.

"AUUAAAAUUUGAHAGAGAGHH!" Ben screamed mindlessly. The scrape hurt like heck. "Oww, Zebstrika, ow, Thunderbolt! Togekiss, oww ow, Aerial Ace! OWWWW, Rampardos, Rock Climb! JUST, oww, ATTACK!"

The attacks hit Darkrai surprisingly easily. It seems that the legendary nightmare causer has been tremendously weakened over time.
"My... final act."
All that Ben can see is Darkrai powering up a Dark Pulse and staring at him, shocked. Then white light.



After the blast, the group is back in 3011, but still in The Void. Ben, Dusk, Dark and Rahul are all washed up on the beach. There's no sign of Kira or any other forms of Darkrai nearby. Or Night. Suddenly, a shadow is cast out of nowhere in the middle of the group. Nothing marks its origin, but a deep, male voice echoes from the sky.
'Order has been restored to The Void. Step into the illusion before you for your final challenge. Nobody's going to get hurt, it'll just ensure a trip home... or not.'
The voice disappears without showing any emotion, but it's obviously Giratina's.
The shadow begins to glow a brilliant deep purple, twinkling ominously and yet the only hope for these survivors.

"O-o-okay" Ben says, slowly walking into the shadow.

Final Mission (all remaining players) - The Test Of Fate
You wake up in a white room. It's empty except for you, a pen and a quiz sheet. The pen means that your answers can't be erased.
Blue light reflects off a mysterious spot. It appears to grow every second.
Pink light reflects off an adjacent spot. It also appears to rapidly grow.
'This is Night, your host speaking. You have until the 1st of September to finish these. There are 10 questions. Six is the pass mark. Fail to pass and the friends of mine will deal with you. Every answer is final and I will allow you to challenge questions at your own risk. Good luck.'
The voice fades, and the prescence of Dialga and Palkia can be easily sensed.
8 days to do this. But who will pass and who will fall at the last hurdle?

"It's time."
Dialga and Palkia appear in the blankness. Dialga sends a Roar of Time in Dark's direction, and Palkia smashes a Spacial Rend at Rahul.
Ben and Dusk fade out of the white room and are suddenly standing by a large, purple portal, which seems familiar.
Night walks up to the two of them.
"This is the portal back to Insomnia. Your Pokémon are now all Level 50. Congratulations for passing The Void experiment and I hope to see you in the future."
Reshiram stands by Dusk, ready to transport him back. Zekrom stands by Ben. also ready to escort him back to his world.
"One step and you're back. My sincerest thanks for completing this: we've learnt a lot. Whilst many have failed and lost everything, you two have been completely cooperative and aware of what's going on. It's been a pleasure."
Night grows wings, transforming into Giratina, and flies off into the sky. He leaves a plume of purple smoke behind him. It reads 'Storage', and then Night plummets into his underground storage system. Three hooded figures are watching. They've been watching the whole journey, and they've learnt about Night, ready to stop him in a parallel universe...

"So that's it, I guess. So, um, bye." Ben steps into the portal leaving all of The Void behind him.
