The upcoming issue of CoroCoro will be featuring the next set of the Black & White era: Psycho Drive ・ Hail Blizzard. Shown in the issue are Mewtwo EX and an additional promotional Stadium card: Battle City. The Battle City promo will be included with the October 2011 issue of CoroCoro. Mewtwo EX is a Rare card numbered 020/052.

EX cards have a significantly higher amount of HP as normal Pokémon, and players take 2 prize cards when they are defeated.

The only thing I'm upset about with this is that they decided to put the "take 2 prizes when this pokemon is K.O.ed" rule on there, but atleast they gave it a very high amount of HP to make up for it.

^That's what Pokémon-ex are... without the 2 prize rule, it would be the same as regular Pokémon, which is just dumb (lookin' at you, FA and Primes). Thank goodness. It's not OP, but it's amazing art and a fun play.

Looks like they are taking the Lvl X route with the card art. People all EX are like that xD. What are the attacks? Can anyone translate?

Here are the attacks , etc

Mewtwo EX - Psychic - HP170
Basic Pokemon

[C][C] X-Ball: 20x damage. Does 20 damage for each Energy attached to both Active Pokemon.
[P][P][C] Psycho Drive: 120 damage. Discard an Energy attached to this Pokemon.

Pokemon EX Rule: When Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Psychic (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

The card art ain't that bad. It's less stupid than the LV Xes that consisted of...just a face. That was extremely stupid imo. Luxray... poor Luxray.

The stats, meh. Either this will be a balanced card (making the entire block overpowered on average), an overpowered card (which is what it looks like, because this + DCEs is pretty insane) or an underpowered card (...god have mercy upon the TCG designers).
I'm guessing the first, aka: Mewtwo will somehow seem balanced. There's no way they're gonna stop here. They're going to want to trump their stupidity by even more stupidity.

I just thought of this! The Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion full art cards could possibly be in Emerging Powers! Since its the debut of the Legendary trio of Unova, and Cobalion is featured on the pack art! Does anybody else think so?

I don't think it's really that likely. They already posted 2 FAs for EP, and knowing them they'll probably just stretch it out. Besides, the FAs are of the red collection ones; the ones we're getting in EP are from the battle strength decks.

We also got three cards that haven't been released in Japan yet thats in Emerging Powers. So we could even get just a few red collection cards, such as those full arts! I know they said Thundurus and Tornadus will appear as full arts, but they may be keeping Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion full arts a secret!

Really hoping for the trio cards in EP. They're probably the nicest looking cards I've seen in a long time. Reshiram & Zekrom are cool, but I've always found them a little bit... well, ugly (Zekrom especially). The trio full art cards are the opposite of that, stunning!

To add even more to the likelynes of them being in EP, I was looking up info on the theme decks and found out there's a Beartic in one theme deck and a Gothitelle in the other BUT they are the Japanese promos, so for example we are getting 1 good Beartic and 1 some what playable Beartic; Same goes for Gothitelle, so because we are getting the bad Virizion, Terrakion and Cobalion we should also get the good ones too!

To add even more to the likelynes of them being in EP, I was looking up info on the theme decks and found out there's a Beartic in one theme deck and a Gothitelle in the other BUT they are the Japanese promos, so for example we are getting 1 good Beartic and 1 some what playable Beartic; Same goes for Gothitelle, so because we are getting the bad Virizion, Terrakion and Cobalion we should also get the good ones too!

If I remember correctly the number of pokemon in the Hoenn national dex is 386.
But anyways if you look on the front page it turns out I was mislead and we are only getting the bad Musketeer trio cards.
