Pokémon You Want to See as an EX

I wish there was a set with all the Eeveelutions as Full Art ex's and secret rare's. Not mega secret rares just the ones with the ridges on them.

So you'd have 8 Full Arts, and 8 Secret rares.

Ey! That was my idea! :D
I think it's a cool idea and would love if it happened, but I don't think TPCI will do it, at least not with all eeveelutions at once. maybe they will do like they did with the gold stars, some in one set and some in another set.
 
I'm leaving out anything that is guaranteed to be getting an EX at some point due to having Mega Evolution, such as Gardevoir and Pinsir. Zoroark, Arceus, Roserade, Gallade, Mightyena, Linoone, Heatran, Seviper, Zangoose, and Shuckle are Pokemon I'd like to see get EX treatment. Probably tons I'm forgetting.


For the second part, I'm a huge fan of FA Lysandre. It just looks so good.

I would love to see Wailord as an EX, and as I know he already was one in EX Sandstorm, it would be awesome if we saw him strike back today.

What Cards do You Want to See in the Next Set?

150+ cards confirmed for the next English expansion, Primal Clash. I know Phantom Forces has just come out but I'm already looking forward to what Pokemon will be in the upcoming set :) We'll have a better idea in mid December when it is released in Japan.

What Pokemon do you expect to see in Primal Clash? Which Megas do you think will be included (apart from the upcoming M Diancie EX and M Metagross EX promos)?

I'm hoping for:

  • Gyarados-EX and M Gyarados-EX
  • new evo lines (EX would be 100x better) for Vanilluxe, Alakazam, Dewgong, Zebstrika, Meganium
  • another Pokemon with a supporter lock ability
  • Gen I and/or Gen IV fossil Pokemon (e.g. Kabutops, Bastiodon)
  • much more!

EDIT: just realised the new Megas are already announced...no Gyarados this time around.

Stage 2's with low attack costs and high damage output to help compete against Big Basics but unfortunately we all know it's not going to happen. We got lucky with Blaziken in Furious Fists but it's still nowhere near as competitive as Empoleon was from Dark Explorers and Plasma Freeze.

As for Primal Clash as XY5, it really is hard to pinpoint what will be in the set. At first, I thought that only Pokemon that could be caught in that game would appear, but it seems that Aegislash will be making a return. That's all good in my book, since I love that guy anyway.

as for who I would like to see, well...

-The Eeveelutions. Don't judge me on being stereotyped, I just would really like to see a new Jolteon card. Besides, it wasn't fair when Leafeon and Glaceon got all the love to themselves back in XY3!!

-Smeargle. He's always unique, and we're still due for one by fan demand!

-The Regi Trio as Holofoils. Or, at the very least, make Registeel Holo.

-While not a specific Pokemon, I really hope that Team Flare Hyper Gear continues into this set. The cards are really balanced, since they only apply to EX's, so it might help the metagame get a bit more balanced.

-BROKEN. TIME. SPACE. REPRINT. RIGHT. NOW!!!

-Or, an erratta change to revert Rare Candy back to it's ruling during the HGSS season.

-More good Stage 2's!!!

-Zygarde, it just bugs me that we haven't gotten the last officially revealed Pokemon from XY. Even Diancie got a release first and she's was a 'hidden' Pokemon.

-Fairy Togekiss line

-Some line of Pokemon with alternate forms that we don't already have, like fighting versions of the Aggron line (I regret that the Aegislash line doesn't appear to be psychic).

-A fairy Azurill to go with the Marill and (presumable) Azumarill...see a pattern here?

-More special energy, I never did get why we didn't get an electric one in Phantom Gate.

-Fighting Pangoro...even as a promo for the set.

(There's Wynaut and Azurill too but it seems like the TCG at this time is trying as hard as possible to ignore Baby Pokemon in general.)

I would like to see dual types, even though that probably will not happen.
Stage two support, (A lot more)
Regice-EX or holo I WANT THIS TO BE A THING AGAIN
Stage twos with awesome abilities
Cooler Draw supporters or cards to search your deck.
A new form of ace specs (Not the exact same thing)
Ampharos Holo or EX that is good
Regice dual type water / Electric

What kind of 'Stage 2 support' would you like to see? Do you mean Trainer cards or Pokemon that support Stage 2s?

I'd agree with this because of seismatoad, but honestly what decks would take advantage of this? Decks used to be 4-0-4, 4-1-4, 3-1-3, with rare candy. That's only taking up about 12 spots. With BTS, maybe some candy, you'll have a 4-3-4 taking up 14-16 spots.
Honestly I'd love the card to be reprinted, and I'd expect it to happen one day too, but I don't think it would see much play as it did in the DP era.

Armaldo. It bugs me that Cradily has its corresponding fossil in the new style, but Armaldo's Claw Fossil doesn't.

I'd like to see Pokemon Breeder reprinted as a Supporter that works like how Rare Candy used to. Gets around Seismitoad, and isn't quite as stupidly powerful as Rare Candy used to be. (And I do feel Rare Candy was too good before, and especially would be now that we have legitimately powerful Stage 2s.)

THIS. Maybe a fire/water special for groudon (even though he's fighting but representational) and kyogre.

You know that goes back to something I was saying about alternate forms of Pokemon we don't already have. It's the same case with the mega Pokemon as well. A steel M. Lucario EX for example, though of course we likely won't get one.

I would like to see some sort of dual energy kind of thing that could benefit specific Pokemon. Like some kind of Fire/Fighting energy that might give an extra benefit for Primal Groudon, but to make an energy just for one Pokemon isn't too likely. Some kind of combo thing would be great. Fighting/Steel for things like Lucarion. Psychic/Fairy for Gardevoir's presence coming up. It would have to be released over the course of more than one set though if it were to happen at all.

PIXIES! I want to see PIXIES!

Azelf EX, Mesprit EX, and Uxie EX are the cards i want to see most, Megas or no. I miss playing AMU, it was one of my best decks in the past, and i've never forgiven them for not giving the world playable pixies. >_<

I also would love a return of the Poke+ cards: PokeDrawer+, PokeBlower+, etc.

Special Energy is confirmed for XY5, but I think it won't be Water and Fire. If anything, they would do Water and Fighting to match the Primals. However, there is already Strong Energy in the format. What I assume is Metal and Fairy special energy, because of Mega Aggron and Mega Gardevoir in those sets. The other possibility is Fire and Dark, but that just seems stupid.

Latios and Latias would be fun to see again, they've been so many different energy types in the past so it would be good to see what they would end up as in the new set.

A reprint of Machamp from Stormfront. A Reprint of Broken Time Space. A new rule that allows Stage 2 pokemon to attack turn 1. A card call "EX Wrecker" If it is attached to an EX pokemon it is automatically dead, and is worth 6 price cards.
