If its a a wall you're after, Skarmory could be a suggestion. It's weaknesses are covered by your team, and give it Spikes, Roost, Iron Head and Fly (or any other flying/coverage move) and you're good to go.

I'm playing Emerald for the first time and this is the team I plan on using. I'm not as familiar with Hoenn as I am with other regions so I'm not sure what the most useful types to have are. Please feel free to make suggestions for better Pokémon if need be. The only ones I'm dead set on keeping are Blaziken and Sharpedo because both are Pokémon I really like. Also, no Pokémon that need to be traded to evolve because I have no one locally to trade with. :(

Blaziken (Ability: Blaze)
~ Bulk Up
~ Blaze Kick / Flamethrower
~ Sky Uppercut / Brick Break
~ Rock Tomb

Swellow (Ability: Guts)
~ Aerial Ace
~ Return
~ Steel Wing
~ Facade

Gardevoir (Ability: Trace)
~ Calm Mind
~ Psychic
~ Thunderbolt
~ Teleport / Hypnosis

Manectric (Ability: Static)
~ Thunderbolt
~ Bite
~ Quick Attack
~ Thunder Wave

Vileplume (Ability: Chlorophyll)
~ Sunny Day
~ Solarbeam
~ Sludge Bomb
~ Sleep Powder

Sharpedo (Ability: Rough Skin)
~ Crunch
~ Surf
~ Earthquake
~ Ice Beam

Venusaur (Naughty Nature) Lv. 45
Strength / Sleep Powder / Leech Seed / Razor Leaf

Slowbro (Impish Nature) Lv. 46
Surf / Psychic / Amnesia / Toxic

Ninetales (Serious Nature) Lv. 41
Confuse Ray / Flamethrower / Quick Attack / Will-O-Wisp

Kabutops (Naughty Nature) Lv. 42
Dig / Brick Break / Slash / Aerial Ace

Jolteon (Modest Nature) Lv. 50

Any suggestions? I am currently in Victory Road.

That's the only thing that stood out to me. Dragon Rage is a pretty weak attack in your current part. In the league it's gonna pretty much be 3HKOs with that, considering DR only does 40 damage. Though I think you don't have other decent dragon-type moves available.

Otherwise, a good solid team. :)

Dragonair (Hasty Nature) Lv .42
Return / Thunder Wave / Dragon Rage / Flamethrower
If it doesn't get outrage before the e4 swap dragon rage for something like surf since it doesn't have a spc att hindering nature. otherwise it's fine.

Venusaur (Naughty Nature) Lv. 45
Strength / Sleep Powder / Leech Seed / Razor Leaf
swap razor leaf for solar beam or giga drain and swap strength for earthquake.

Slowbro (Impish Nature) Lv. 46
Surf / Psychic / Amnesia / Toxic
If possible give it flamethrower for extra coverage, otherwise he's fine but don't let Gary's Exeggutor face it.

Ninetales (Serious Nature) Lv. 41
Confuse Ray / Flamethrower / Quick Attack / Will-O-Wisp
Problem with ninetales in 3rd gen is it has a small movepool with poor stats, there's not much you can add or take away for that matter. I would have gone with magmar but you can still pull off with ninetales.

Kabutops (Naughty Nature) Lv. 42
Dig / Brick Break / Slash / Aerial Ace
There's a rock slide move tutor in dark cave if I remember correctly, I'd use that instead of dig or slash.

Jolteon (Modest Nature) Lv. 50
Thunderbolt / Shadow Ball / Thunder Wave / Quick Attack

This was my jolteons set in SS, shadow ball does physical damage this gen though so don't expect any heavy hits (especially since yours is modest)

This is my current LeafGreen team, any suggestions?

[sprite]135[/sprite]
Joltia the Jolteon, Level 46

Shock Wave, Thunder Wave, Double Kick, Quick Attack

[sprite]6[/sprite]
Reptile the Charizard, Level 47

Flamethrower, Fly, Slash, Metal Claw

[sprite]148[/sprite]
Dragoneer the Dragonair, Level 45

Twister, Slam, Thunder Wave, Surf

[sprite]70[/sprite]
Piranha the Weepinbell (just don't wanna evolve yet :D), Level 44

Acid, Razor Leaf, Poisonpowder, Stun Spore

[sprite]143[/sprite]
Heavy the Snorlax, Level 45

Headbutt, Covet, Rest, Body Slam

[sprite]80[/sprite]
Bro the Slowbro, Level 45

Surf, Amnesia, Confusion, Headbutt

So what do you guys think? I just beat the part where Hypno goes 100% umm... You know xD And if there's a good Pokemon that could replace Hitmon, tell me.

//EDIT: Hitmonchan is removed and replaced with Slowbro.

[sprite]135[/sprite]
Joltia the Jolteon, Level 43

Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Double Kick, Quick Attack
Shock Wave's always-hitting thing isn't that great, since you're still going to be hitting most of the time anyway. Thunderbolt can be obtained for not that much money at the Game Corner.
[sprite]6[/sprite]
Reptile the Charizard, Level 44

Flamethrower, Fly, Slash, Metal Claw

[sprite]148[/sprite]
Dragoneer the Dragonair, Level 42

Twister, Slam, Thunder Wave, Surf
Good for now, but when it evolves into Dragonite, you'll probably want something more like this:

Wing Attack, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Surf

[sprite]70[/sprite]
Piranha the Weepinbell (just don't wanna evolve yet :D), Level 40

Sludge Bomb, Giga Drain, Poisonpowder, Vine Whip (gets Razor Leaf in 2 levels)

Victreebel doesn't really have many options for attacks, but this should work anyway.

[sprite]143[/sprite]
Heavy the Snorlax, Level 43

Brick Break, Shadow Ball, Rest, Body Slam

The two new moves allow for near-maximum coverage. Brick Break can be bought at the Celadon Department Store, and Shadow Ball can be obtained through Game Corner Prizes.
[sprite]107[/sprite]
Jackie the Hitmonchan, Level 41

Sky Uppercut, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Thunderpunch

So what do you guys think? I just beat the part where Hypno goes 100% pedo. xD And if there's a good Pokemon that could replace Hitmon, tell me.

//EDIT: Hitmonchan is removed and replaced with Slowbro.
What are your plans for Slowbro? Is it supposed to be a tank or an attacker?

My team in Pokemon White is:

Arm Thrust isn't going to be doing THAT much damage, so Hammer Arm is a better alternative. If you don't like the speed loss it gives, use Brick Break instead.
Level 46 Stoutland (Tacky) [Crunch, Return, Retaliate (with 1 PP Up), Reversal]
Since this Stoutland's probably been on your team for quite a while, it should have a high friendship level, thus making Return more powerful than Take Down could ever be.
Level 35 Audino (Xenoman) -Has Surf- [Wild Charge, Secret Power, Surf, Fire Blast]
I'm assuming you're using this Audino as an attacker, so correct me if I'm wrong. Secret Power is kinda hard to use, so switch that with Return. Other than that, Audino doesn't really have the best attacking stats, so it needs to make up for that in more powerful moves, hence Wild Charge and Fire Blast.
Level 34 Mienfoo (Black Belt) [Aerial Ace, Hi Jump Kick, Rock Tomb, Drain Punch]Hi Jump Kick provides a very powerful move with relatively low risk. Aerial Ace and Rock Tomb are just there to provide decent coverage.
Level 33 Excadrill (Dig-Dug) [Earthquake, Swords Dance, Horn Drill (with 2 PP Ups), Rock Slide]Pretty much self-explanatory.
Level 25 Tranquill (Pidovian) -Has Fly- [Return Fly, Roost, Work Up]
Once again, self-explanatory.

In Black 2 my team is:

Level 25 Pignite (Again, Flame) [Tackle, Arm Thrust, Rollout, Flame Charge]
Level 24 Jirachi (From trade, so it's not nicknamed) [Swift, Psychic, Rest, Draco Meteor]

Level 14 Rattata (Rattatatat) [Quick Attack, Focus Energy, Bite, Pursuit]
Level 13 Magnemite (King Magno) [Tackle, Supersonic, Thunder Shock, Sonic Boom]
Level 12 Audino (Belleby) [Pound, Growl, Helping Hand, Refresh]
Your team doesn't really seem to have developed enough yet, so could you please post your plans for this team so that I have something to work with?

Level 43 Eelektross (Crunch, Thunder Wave, Discharge, Volt Switch)
Level 40 Skarmory (Fly, Spikes, X-Scissor, Steel Wing)
Level 41 Sawsbuck (Double Kick, Leech Seed, Horn Leech, Return)
Level 37 Vaporeon (Sand-Attack, Aqua Ring, Surf, Bite)
Level 38 Emboar (Return, Heat Crash, Assurance, Bulldoze)
Level 39 Lucario (Shadow Claw, Swords Dance, Force Palm, Dark Pulse)

Vaporeon is going to be (Ice Beam, Surf, Aqua Ring, Shadow Ball)
I am eventually going to replace Bulldoze on Emboar with Earthquake, and Heat Crash with Fire Punch.
Maybe replace Double Kick on Sawsbuck with Megahorn. :/

White 2 team, right before seventh gym.

(Ice Punch on Lucario is extra helpful due to where you are; nothing on your team at the mo can hit Dragons for large damage, plus it gives great coverage with Fighting moves)

I think he should specify lucario's nature. If it has a sp. att beneficial one it would be better to run dragon pulse for dragon coverage (higher base att and isn't resisted by as many types).

My team on White 2 right now is:

Pignite (Ember) Lv. 29 (Take Down, Tail Whip, Arm Thrust, Flame Charge)
Leavanny (Swaddy) Lv. 27 (Struggle Bug, Return, Bug Bite, Razor Leaf)
Sandile (Rocko) Lv. 27 (Torment, Dig, Assurance, Mud-Slap)
Golbat (Batzu) Lv. 28 (Swift, Fly, Bite, Wing Attack)

I would like to know if you have any Pokemon you would like me to use, also in another White 2 game i caught a Reshiram with adamant nature, is that good? (Not god with natures and stuff like that :) )

Reshiram with adamant is bad, but it's att stat is high enough to use it. She's uber anyways so it doesn't matter.

I can't really tell you what to use because I don't know what you're into design wise or your play style. But I can recommend a steel and/ or water-type since right now ice sweeps your team. Try Magnezone/ Lucario (if you prefer speed) and Vaporeon.

My current team for white 2 (just after burgh):
Usually I'd get my team at least 10 levels above my current opponents, but since B/W, with the exp scaling down it has become impossible (And to make matters worse, I can barely train. Five minutes and I'm coming back to the pokemon center with more than half my team down or seriously injured), so I have to take a more clever and strategic approach. I have many doubts about this, so opinions are welcome, though It's only fair I warn you, I'm very picky, and I often don't mind the ovbious disadvantages of my team, I just want to play with my favorite pokemon and the moves that fit them well.

[sprite]495[/sprite]
Lv 26 Snivy
Impish nature (+def,-spa)
37/41/27/40/42
Overgrow (duh)
- Vine whip (->leaf blade)
- Leech seed (->coil)
- Return
- Leaf tornado(->leaf storm)
Miracle seed

I love snivy, but it's soo hard to choose a good moveset for her. This time, because of her higher attack, I'll have to focus in a physical moveset, which I hate. using coil to get her in shape, leaf blade to attack, and leaf storm as a sure kill or last chance attack, because it would lower her already low special and become unusable. For return's spot I'm thinking synthesis, giga drain (for recovery) or seed bomb (another physical) or aqua tail (coverage)

[sprite]179[/sprite]
Lv 27 Mareep
Relaxed nature (+def,-spe)
30/33/49/29/29
Static
- Thundershock
- Electroball
- Thunder wave
- Confuse ray
Brightpowder

Mareep is slow. I hate that. But I love my little runner over here; using cotton spore to take the opponent's speed to 50%, then paralize (through static/thundershock/thunder wave) to get it to 25% of that and spamming electroball, she took burgh almost singlehandedly (and two of his pokemon resist electroball) She is kinda fragile, that's why I changed quick claw for brightpowder, but now with para-fusion it's a little harder to hit her, so yay.
I was thinking of giving her power gem/discharge/charge beam/cotton guard/signal beam, I like all of those moves, but i don't wanna ruin the parafusion/electroball strategy, despite not being ideal for the species.

[sprite]572[/sprite]
Lv 27 Minccino
Jolly nature (+spe,-spa)
36/27/25/29/53
Technician
- Sing
- Tickle
- Tail slap
- Swift
Scope lens

Minccino is awesome, although she gives me a hard time doing just two hits (once, she got two hits three times in a row, and the audino defeated her. Yes, you read that right. AUDINO) In white, I had an adamant cinccino with attack EVs. She was death incarnated; think of the punisher but cute, cuddly and wearing a fluffy scarf. That's how much ass cinccino kicked: she one-hitted anything with 3 or 4 hits of tail slap, and I mean it: once she KO a klinlang (always a tough cookie for me, since I don't have any fire/ground types) in one move. I'm hoping little minccino here follows her badass steps.
This is pretty much the ideal moveset I need, first sleep, a couple of tickles, and tail slap the opponent into oblivion (If I'm lucky, focus lens gives me an extra hit, either that or silk scarf to make every hit more powerful), I would even keep swift; despite her low special, it has surprised me more than once.

[sprite]548[/sprite]
Lv 23 Petilil
Hasty nature (+spe,-def)
26/30/40/28/27
Own tempo
- Magical leaf (->petal dance)
- Synthesis
- Sleep powder
- Leech seed (->quiver dance)
Miracle seed

Lilligant is the best, period, If you never had a lilligant, you don't know the power of grass type pokemon. She has so many possible move/ability combinations with different roles that you could make a whole team of them and they'd perform decently (barring any fire/ice/flying pokmon, of course). Although photosynthesis/solarbeam/sunny day/synthesis/growth lilligant is very good, I prefer this variant.
The strategy is obvious, sleep powder->quiver dance your heart out->petal dance the opponent's heart out->synthesis when needed.

So, what do you think? am I good here?
Future additions include swanna (a perfect partner for lilligant), flygon (If I can get her to the required level, of course), glaceon (if I can find a d****d female naive eevee and catch her) and meloetta, if I can get one through trading or something (unrealistic, I know, but I can dream, right?)

I'm not gonna quote the post since it's long so I'll tell you here:

I started with a female snivy too, and here's the in-game set I had for her:
Leech seed
Coil
Leaf Blade
Iron Tail/ Aqua Tail
This works well for a physical serp in-game, use either leech seed or col first (depending on the situation) and you'll sweep any team.

Ampharos:
Signal beam, Thunderbolt, Thunderwave, *filler move*
Amp, doesn't have many options but it's high sp. att and high defs help make up for this.

Minccino:
There's a hidden grotto minccino with skill link, I'd recommend that but if you want to keep your current one:
Wake-up Slap
Tail Slap
Bullet Seed/ U-Turn/ Thunderwave
Rock Blast
Virtually the same set as the skill link one, except skill link is more consistent.

Liligant:
I'd swap petal dance for giga drain or energy ball, giga drain preferred because yours will have really low def and on the off chance it survives a physical hit, at least you can get some hp back. I'd also recommend dream eater if you're running sleep powder instead of synthesis. Synthesis is only good on bulky grass-types.

Future Flygon:
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Fire Punch
*filler move*
flygon has many options, if you prefer a sp. att set just swap EQ for earth power, DC for dragon pulse, and FP for Flamethrower/ Fire Blast. The fourth slot can be used as you wish.

I can't say much about Swanna since I haven't used one, I think Hurricane + Rain Dance are key with her. It should help on your team since flygon's the only one who resists fire.

Except Dragon Pulse offers no further coverage, only hitting its own type for SE damage, whereas Ice Punch hits 4 (iirc) types for SE.

Plus Ice+Fighting gives great coverage on its own.
