I like gen 1 alot (and most of gen 1's pokemon) but I also like the other regions. Genwunners can't accept the fact that Gen 1 isn't the only good generation out there, and especially saying that everything past gens 1/2 isn't 'real' is dumb. Grow up.

I like gen 1 alot (and most of gen 1's pokemon) but I also like the other regions. Genwunners can't accept the fact that Gen 1 isn't the only good generation out there, and especially saying that everything past gens 1/2 isn't 'real' is dumb. Grow up.

I like the first gen alot as well (My fave Pokemon Arcanine is gen.1), but like you, I'm open to change and I'm happy to see new innovative and creative ideas for the games.
I mean, take Mewtwo's new forme. A lot of people don't like it for reasons I can fully see and are acceptable (Mewtwo was the original legendary powerhouse, a lot of people aren't sure what to think about it because Mewtwo is so close to their childhood etc). But Genwunners take it to an extreme and it makes them look stupid. I personally like Mewtwo's forme more than the original Mewtwo, and can't wait to see how they put it in the storyline, and how its moves/stats differ.
I find it most funny when they complain that Pokemon designs have gotten lame and repetitive and then they go onto revering Muk, Voltorb and all that lot.
