(1) New Tree-like Pokemon Before Genesect Film [7/13]

When I saw the first drawing of tree, it reminded me of this:

A bit off topic

Sableye's evolution is possible for 2 main reasons:
1. With the addition of fairy type, dark types will be weak to it meaning that Sableye will no longer have no weaknesses unless ghost interacts it.
2. If pokemon will follow the pattern they did R/S/E will be inevitable remakes( imagine it for the 3ds ;-;) so it would be a perfect opportunity to give an evolution ti the pokemon that contains all these stones.
Also I'm happy that the bike will make a reappearance but I can't say I'm surprised.

A menace tree Pokemon huh? Does it look something like this?

Gotta have that awesome bicycle music!

btw can someone tell me how to do the hide/show spoiler and add a picture profile?

Well I might be wrong, but wasn't everyone's memory (including ash) erased by Mewtwo in the First Movie?

The First Movie, yes. However their memory was left in the sequel, Mewtwo Returns. It was understandable why they didn't remember him in the sequel... at least it was explained, and they actually linked the two movies and it made sense.

I know they're restarting a new generation of kids onto Pokemon and all, but please, please don't do it in a way that betrays the older fans.

Whatever type it is, I hope it can learn explosion, as a reference to these guys:

I'm going to panic and run every time I see one if that's the case.

I personally don't exactly mind that Ash doesn't remember Mewtwo, because honestly, the anime's timeline is too convoluted to even remotely piece together. I kind of just expected it as par for the course.
As far as the movie itself though, was it enjoyable? At least, more than the last two BW movies? I thought the Victini movie was horrible and the Keldeo movie was just ok (Ash and co. added nothing of value and just wasted screen time, and what was with all the flashback scenes?). The written summary sounds good but I'm wondering if I should actually go out of my way to see it.

That movie description really saddens me. The plot sounds alright, especially the end, but the fact that its just another "Ash has no idea what this Pokemon is even though they met before" sort of thing, and then they completely change Mewtwo from a he to a she, really puts me off. It wouldnt irk me so much if it was any other Pokemon. Im not even a huge Mewtwo fan, but its the fact that they put so much time into building Mewtwo up in the past and now they completely changed all of that and its like anything that happened before gen 4 doesn't even exist anymore as far as Ash's memories.

May as well go back to that "Ash is in a coma" theory.

Well I might be wrong, but wasn't everyone's memory (including ash) erased by Mewtwo in the First Movie?
Actualy there was a special where mewtwo meets ash again and is almost killed by Giovani still doesn;t make sense why he doesn't remember mewtwo

Edit: oh ninja'd XD

soon all my fakemon will look like crappier versions of actual pokemon :DD

Hope it really is Grass/Ghost.

Was already worried the hypnotic squid and Steel/Ghost knight equipment was the closest they'd get

Now they gotta make an electric snow kangaroo, a 3 stage dragon fossil, a Ground/Bug creepy worm, a 3 stage fish, and a friendly fairy dragon XD

The genesect movie does not seem too good. It's not really connected to the anime (Female Mewtwo), and just sounds like Genesect blows up stuff mewtwo attacks it.

Plus there isn't two mewtwos in the movies. Therefore, not all of the leakers facts are correct. If there were 3 mewtwos total, then how come we only see 2 in the movie? The movie, being a mewtwo movie is the best place to show off a new form.

^ Er, wrong thread.

Anyway, treemon looks pretty badass; I have a good feeling about it!

Gras/Ghost imo.

I am sad to read that movie description. I was so looking forward to the film because it had so much potential. With the original Mewtwo, I was hoping for another "Lucario" quality movie. Mewtwo is my favorite Pokemon and the fact that there is another one... And that its female... Ugh. You can't just go and recreate a genetically altered Mew clone like that. To me, the data needed to create the original Mewtwo was destroyed in the lab Mewtwo was born in (remember, he blew it up and took off with Giovanni.)

I feel like they aren't trying anymore... With Charizard's return, I was exteremly hopeful. It's like they were finally recognizing previous generations. Plus, with N traveling with the crew, I feel like they were trying something fresh. The movie could have had Mewtwo returning to continue his story. But nope, Ash continues to be an idiot ("What's a Mewtwo? Never seen that before") and they had to go and screw up the entire idea there being only a single Mewtwo. "Let's just have another Arceus while we're at it. Because screw logic and previous generations..."

Oh and, cool tree Pokemon.

I like the concept. One thing I noticed between the two is that one has these spider web-bat-like things under its arms, and the other doesn't. I wonder if it actually has that, I think it would be a nice addition. Im loving the face on it, especially those creepy eyes. My only real complaint is the plain coloring. Brown and green is kind of just... ordinary and expected. I think a grayish would have looked cooler instead of brown to give it a more petrified look, but thats just me. I'm sure the purpose of this Pokemon is to simply imitate an unmoving tree and scare passerbys, so they probably made it somewhat ordinary looking to blend into surroundings.
