‘Darkness Ablaze’ Booster Packs, Promos, and Theme Decks!

We now have the first Darkness Ablaze product images! We are still waiting for images of the booster box and Elite Trainer Box.

Hattena is a reprint from Rebel Clash, but the artwork above hasn’t officially been released in Japan yet. It would have been part of the current Gym tournaments, which were cancelled due to coronavirus. The Pikachu is an older Gym promo.

Hattena – Psychic – HP60
Basic Pokemon

[C] Find a Friend: Search your deck for a Pokemon, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

[C][C] Psychic Shot: 20 damage.

Weakness: Darkness (x2)
Resistance: Fighting (-30)
Retreat: 1

Pikachu – Lightning – HP60
Basic Pokemon

[C] Tail Whip: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon can’t attack during your opponent’s next turn.

[L][C][C] Pika Volt: 50 damage.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

As posted before, Darkness Ablaze will release on August 14th. It will be based on Eruption Walker featuring Centiskorch VMAX and Japan’s upcoming set World Down featuring Eternatus VMAX. (The set was recently renamed to Infinity Zone due to coronavirus.) We will also see the cards from Japan’s Charizard VMAX and Grimmsnarl VMAX decks.
