Yup, I've done that. So I see that TB indicates your opponent's ties, but a whole lot of things are really unclear to me:
- For TB - Is this only ties prior to your game, or after your game as well? Does each opponent who has ever tied add one point, or is it one point for each tie each opponent has ever had?
- More importantly, why are your opponents' ties relevant? I don't see why it's more of an accomplishment to play a tied opponent than one who's lost games... What about IDs? That could seriously throw things.
- How do they choose whether to use TB or buchholz? It appears TB is used first, but why?

Feel free to move this to a new topic if preferred.

Thanks!

My PTCGO Username is still misspelled. It should be KeldeoDash, not KedleoDash. I'm not sure if this is a big deal or not.

TB does not refer to your opponents' ties, but rather the number of wins you have against someone with the same record as you. TB applies when you and an opponent from a previous round have the same record. For example, I have 1 TB point because I defeated someone in Round 2, and we both end the tournament with a 5-1 record. However, I will place higher than him because I already played him and defeated him, which gives me a win against a tied opponent. It is applied before Buchholz because it means that you defeated one of the people who have done better in the tournament, as opposed to the people who do not perform as well as those with the same record as you.
Hope this helps!
