shuppet donk?

It loses majorly to a Dialga G Deafen-Lock as well as any deck with a Vileplume in it. And since a lot of decks are running Vileplume nowadays to counter the threat of SPs, Shuppet Donk has fallen out of favor.

In actuality, Shuppet Donk stopped being used when Spiritomb came out, because any deck that used Spiritomb ended up using several, and the Spiritomb user could do a lot more harm with its hit-and-run Pokemon (Gengar AR, Magnezone SF) than the Shuppet person could do.

In summation, Shuppet Donk, due to trainer-lock decks, cannot set up as efficiently anymore. That is why it is not often used.

Yeah. Also, as soon as the new PlusPower rules come into play, it fails really miserably (PlusPower isn't attached, it's discarded. I guess that's the end to Shuppet Donk...)

It'll be REALLY gone as soon as Lost World gets printed. Shuppet goes back to the hand, Gengar looks in the hand, and you lose a Shuppet. If anything here kills Shuppet, that's probably the worst.

But like the others said, too many Dialga G and Vileplume/Spiritomb.

I think it mainly stopped being played right after the Mr.Mime SW got rotated (I think its SW). It lost all ability to lock.

@venasour x: It was from MT, but close enough. MT had a lot of good cards (like Azelf MT, which locked SPs as well).
V (also, np)
