• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

    When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.

no, i went with a plasma deck... it's a pretty good thing too... the people i played went on to be in top 8...they had about 5x the ammount of money I had in my deck... I was having the same problem as you were with consistency I think. But it was a BLAST!!!
 
Beaches....they really make the deck a ton more consistent... I went up against 3 blastoises. All of them said the beaches were needed, because it's a 1 card for beach where as you need fenniken a rare candy and delphox for the delphox line. Also that three cards could have been an emboar with a raquaza out. It basically comes down to the fact that with a meta game with such fast decks it takes a while to set up without. I would love to run this deck. But rumors are beaches may rotate out.. so that would do this deck in. I do however feel like emboar will be a good card to go with a lot of the stuff in Flashfire. As well as delphox. But, since i can't plop down 400-600 dollars for the beaches this deck is only and option. I think I may try a plasma or darkrai/yveltal. I ran 1 frozen city in my deck at states (only had 1). I had shadow triads and knoced 2 beaches down xD. But yes I think that certain elements of this deck may come into meta later on...
 
I just recently built this (almost) exact deck. It is very powerful. Once you get everyone in play, it's very hard to stop. A few differences in mine are that I run:
x2 Level Ball
x2 Heavy Ball
x4 Energy Retrieval (and only x1 SER)
x3 Delphox
x2 Braixen
x1 Pignite
x1 Prism Energy (along with x2 Lightning... Prism has helped in a pinch when I already had a L energy attached to my Rayquaza)
x0 Rayquaza Jr. (The x3 EXs and x3 Delphox are adequate for me)

Have you thought about squeezing in (somehow?) Level Balls and Heavy Balls? It helps to get Tepig/Fennekin and Emboar up and running without sacrifice.
 
I actually ran 2 levels and 1 heavy. I think it helps consistency pretty good. And I do agree... this is a powerful deck when it gets going.
