I just made a thread about a deck using this card
Guiding questions:
1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
The HP is good, the weakness is average (It could be a lot worse; just makes it an auto-loss to gyarados). The resistance is good; and the retreat cost is bad.
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
The pokebody is good in keeping it alive; and the attack is good for its cost. 80+10 is a magic number; with an expert belt, it OHKOs SP Lv. X's, and Gengar SF without triggering fainting spell.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Nidoqueen RR; to heal as well as give Nidoking more hp.
Nidoking RR; because you already run nidoking it's easier to setup, and makes it so that every time they attack your massive health, healing Nidoking they take 20 damage. Not much can survive a 20 hp hit plus the 80+poison from his attack, let alone if he has an expert belt.
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
As all stage 2 decks, setting up is a problem. This means that you will just need to run spiritomb. The retreat is a weak point, but then you run warp point/switch. The weakness is a downside, but Nidoqueen has a different weakness and is a good second attacker.
5. How's the artwork?
It's better than average. It's not perfect, but It's good - and it looks good as a holo as well.
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
I give it a 2.5/5. I'm not going to kid myself; the card isn't competitively viable in a top tier deck, but if you get lucky with your setup you have the ability to stomp almost anything.
