RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

Anyone see Little Fockers? I loved the first two, so I'm hoping it's good.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I haven't seen it, and am not going to, but I read several reviews which sad it wasn't that funny anymore.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

^That's what my newspaper said. But then again, my newspaper reviews and rates most of the movies I like badly. Btw, I'm finally seeing Harry Potter tomorrow! I had to wait so long because my younger sister wanted to read the books before she saw it (she never read the series yet). Even though she was well over halfway done with the seventh book, she still insisted on waiting to see the movie (even though it is only part 1) until she finished. We finally convinced her to go see the movie tomorrow. Yay!

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I saw little fockers, it was terrible. I also saw TRON last week and that was a good movie, better than i had expected.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

That's true, and if you want to see Meet The Parents you absolutely should ;) who am I to say you can't!

HP was/is awesome! You really will enjoy that one :')

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

Oh sweet Jesus, Little Fockers was awful. They would've been smart to call it quits after the success of Meet the Parents. Oh well, quality doesn't mean crap to Hollywood as long as it's making money.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I have to say, the Harry Potter movie was the best one by far. Lots of action in it, which surprised me a bit. Action, to me, usually isn't in Harry Potter, so it was a nice little change. I was a little mad with the movie ending with Doby dying, though. I can't remember, did that happen in the book? Anyway, I can't wait for the next part, and the huge battle at the end between Harry and co. Vs. Voldamort and his Death Eaters.

That's true. What happened to Dobby did happen in the book, however, they did make his speech a little more spectaculair! Next movie will be a huge battle, but I hope they'll have some other stuff in it too. An action-only HP is not that appealing..

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

^^Well, it won't be all action, because they still have 3 horcruxes to find (technically two because of Voldamort's snake being a horcrux).

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

Yeah that's true, but those horcruxes are in the bank and at hogwarts, so there won't be too many different locations which will probably mean no slow-pace moments... That's what's worrying me a little bit.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

^There will also be romance parts. The last couple of movies ('cept for The Deathly Hallows Part 1) seem to be more focused on romance then fighting Voldamort. Plus the epilouge at the end of the movie. My mom thinks that the movie theater will show both parts of The Deathly Hallows when the second part comes out. Do you think this will happen?

Let's hope so. I think it could happen, but I don't know. Maybe there will be a lote of advertising and it would be a good deal. Maybe they start three weeks in advance and show two movies every monday. That would be nice :'P (and a lot of time to spend in the theatres)

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I saw The Social Network over the weekend (finally). Man, that sure was a good movie. It definitely deserves all the awards it's receiving and I think it has a very high chance of coming close to winning a Best Picture Oscar (if not winning it).

Edit: Golden Globe works too. XDDDDDDDDD

dmaster out.
