Ok, so my friend is running a poison Mightyena deck. But, the number of Stadiums in his deck keeps changing, as sometimes, he says that he has 2 stadiums in his hand when he only has 4 in his deck; Or that he has no stadiums for more than 5 turns. People who played this kind of decks (Toxicroak, mightyena, Muk... everything with Skuntank G s Poison Structure), please tell me how many stadiums should my friend play.

I am asking for pure experience. Thanks in advance!

Edit: The question is mostly how many stadiums should he run to be CONSISTANT?

Keep the Stadiums (he needs them) but run something to get rid of them (like Junk Arm or Regice).

^Ok, no. You did not understand the question. It is because sometimes, he cannot get them when he needed, but other time, he gets tone of it.

Porygon 2 is a Stage 2. I don t think he will fit.

Honchkrow he has. But it needs to attack before getting the Stadium. Mightyena needs speed.

^ Prygon 2 is a stage 1 (Z is the stage 2)... And porygon 2 might actually work as a 1-1 tech if he has the space for it.

Anyway. I think i ran 5 - 8 stadiums. I changed it sometimes too since i did some changes to the deck from time to time. Try with 6-7 and if he play lot of trainers then he should add in 2 junk arm too.

^Why junk arm?

He has currently 6 stadiums. Should he put another?

Porygon is a stage 1. Slower than Honchkrow G.

Junk Arm can help get rid of Stadiums against certain decks (like SP where they don't run too many) and helps get back useful Trainers like Luxury Ball, PlusPower, Expert Belt, Pokemon Communication, SSU, etc.

dmaster out.

Porygon2 is a stage 1.
Considering that Porygon2 uses a Poke-Power to get a Stadium from your deck instead of an attack, I don't think it's very slow at all.
Besides, why not run Porygon2 as well as Honchkrow G? It definitely wouldn't hurt.
As for the number of Stadiums that should be run in Mightytank, I would say no less than 5, with 7 being a good number. The preferred Stadium in this deck is Galactic HQ (obviously), so try to run as many of those as possible. As for the others...I can't think of any. BTS can work but it's usually not the best idea, since it helps your opponent out more than you.

Wait, What? How does Junk Arm helps him get rid of his opponent s stadiums? The problem is that it is hard to draw the Stadium.

@DNA
Ok. I will tell him. Thanks.

PS: I love your signature and I have always loved them. You made them right? You have a real talent right there.

It doesn't get rid of opponent's Stadiums. It gets rid of excess Stadiums in his hand.

Basically, what Aburame Yuki was saying was have him run a lot of Stadiums to get on the field fast and then discard excess with Junk Arm. Not that hard of a concept lol.

dmaster out.

^He d better keep them, as BTS is played a lot. And normally, he only has 2 in his hand (when he is lucky). Playing one and keep one for backup.

I know that Junk could be an interesting idea, as his Trainers are limited by the amount of Stadiums, and Junk can use any trainers from the discard pile, therefore, bigger choice but... Anyway, I am going to tell him.

BTW, he does not have a Beach account and is too lazzy to create one.

Wow you're dense. If you can't use one turn to attack, and you're assuming that Poochyena is always going to start and you're going to have a boatload of speedy trainers and supporters in your hand, then why even worry about not having stadiums in the first place? Run Uxies, Communications, Pokedex, Poke Drawer+, Junk Arm (to get back Poke Drawer+), 4 Collector, 4 Pokemon Rescue and 4 Unown R or something. Otherwise, go with Honchkrow G. It might slow it down a turn, but if you go first then you can't get set up anyway and it would make the deck much more consistent, which is what you originally wanted.

Problem: Can't get out Stadiums when needed.
Solution: Run more.
Problem: Sometimes get too many Stadiums.
Solution: Run Junk Arm.
Done.

6-7 is best. I reccomend 7, because that's what I used (Had some old success with it at BRs with 3rd place), but now 6 is your best bet.

He use 6 now. Then he should add another to keep consistance, right?

Anyway, thanks for the help.

Possibly, it's a different format since I've last played it, but 6 should be enough. I'd do:

4 Broken
2 Contest Hall

If I were him playing Mightyena, If you wanna run 7 go with the 3rd Contest Hall.

He add another and he said that his deck owns. I guess that this one stadium does a big difference.

"Anyway, thank your guys for the help!" He said.
