Hype about Mewtwo EX

Card for card, there a lot of Pokemon better than Mewtwo, my favorite example is Cobalion, Mewtwo needs seven energies to OHKO Cobalion, and If it can't do that 140 in three turns (that's only if Cobalion doesn't have any energy at the start of the three turns.), you have to switch Mewtwo, because he's going to get IB'd and yeah, it'll take two or three turns to kill Mewtwo, but you'll be up two prizes, and they lose the energies they used to attack Cobalion.a fully built Cobalion, special metals and eviolite can take two hits from psycho drive and still live. Donphan makes Mewtwo a glorified xatu, you only need one energy to hit for 70 and his poke-body redueses that twenty from the x ball, meaning you have to add at least 7 energy to OHKO Donphan. Mewtwo is overrated, and you will all soon realize it.

yeah yeah yeah yeah
But Mewtwo is not for fighting low-energy things like Donphan, derp...
Cobalion loses to Mewtwo. Cobalion needs 3 energy to Iron Breaker, which means a Mewtwo with DCE will 2-hit you while you cannot.
You got to understand something. Mewtwo is not designed to hit 140-hp things with no energy attached. It's designed to take out attackers that are charge up and swinging. If you are trying to load 7 energy onto Mewtwo as your game plan, you're doing something seriously wrong.

I'm pretty sure this guy is trolling. The results for the EEC are pretty clear. Mewtwo can hang. Its scary.

This scariest situation imo is the one where-in you get N'd down to.... 2-3 cards right after your opponent drops mewtwo and puts about 3-5 nrg on it in some way. Your main active is going down, most likely, and now you have to figure out a way to deal with it with 3 cards.

The way Mewtwo works is: Mewtwo is only good where other Mewtwos are. If your area has tons of Zekeels, play 2-3 Mewtwo in each of your decks, but if your area is all Reshiphlosion, Mewtwos a wasted spot.

Yeah, Reshiplosions are better dealt with using Zekroms and such.

Not true at all. You won't be attacking their Reshirams with your Mewtwo, but it's a fantastic T1 attacker to KO Cyndaquils. Plus many Reshirams will tech a Mewtwo.

1. Of course given the chance, Mewtwo will be used to KO T1 Cyndaquils with 1 energy. But other than that Mewtwo will see little use in this matchup.
2. So? Unless they bench it, your Mewtwo is still useless, and why would they bench it unless you played Mewtwo which is useless? Only possibility is they started with it.
