Title says it all.

I looked it up on Bulbapedia, it said "Start", so I looked up the actual move Leaf Blade, and i looked over in Generation V, and Gallade was under "by leveling up" but no level was specified. So how does Gallade learn Leaf Blade?

You need a heart scale.
Give it to a move relearner and pick Leaf Blade.

Next time put it in a B/W answer and questions thread please.

While you may be right, threads like this should be reported instead. -Chariblaze

Mods look it up!!!
If you wish.

/me looks on Bulbapedia

Yep, definitely says start. And yep, that definitely means that you need a Heart Scale. It's like Blaziken in Gen III. Once you evolve it, it can learn Fire Punch via the move tutor, but it never actually learns it any other way.

I'll keep this open for now as a discussion has already been established (and this may not be a simple question), but know that the Q&A thread exists at the top of the forum, stickied.

Sorry, I didn't put it on there because i didn't know if it would be a quick answer or if there were more suggestions for Gallade and if Leaf Blade wasn't worth it. But thanks guys!

Think of start as level 1. If you hack to breed a level 1 Gallade, or find one in the wild, it will know these moves:

Leer
Confusion
Double Team
Teleport

Although it learns Leaf Blade and Night Slash ALSO at level 1, Gallade learns the above 4 moves "later"

I was just going to get a Ralts from Ruby or a different previous generation game and transfer it to White as a Ralts and EV train a really good Gallade. And since my planned team doesn't have a Grass type since i dont always use Grass types, I figured Gallade should learn Leaf Blade. One quick question! (sorry, I know this should be in the Q&A thread) where can I get Heart Scales? By the treasure hunting guy, or is there an easier way?

BW actually have an easier way to get them. Daily, a girl in... Driftveil, I think, asks you to show her a Pokemon with a certain move. Show it to her, and she gives you a Heart Scale. It's not exactly fast, but it's an alternative to Luvdisc. And of course, there's always Pickup (3% chance after your Pickup Pokemon hits level 50, 5% after level 60, and 10% after level 70).

Oh, ok! Thanks, Chariblaze! Once I get there (which won't happen until I get my shiny Charmander from constant soft-resets) I'll get all the TM's and then get a Heart Scale and start training Ralts.
