When I accessed Pokemon Global Link as a new member, I saw that the old Black(2) and White(2) Global Link is shutting down.
It is making access for a Pokemon X and Y Global Link in October.
It is shutting down on the 12th of October, the release date of Pokemon X and Y.
This might be slightly unclear, so I'm going to hijack this post, just a bit. ;)

Literally no other details were revealed, so for all everyone knows, the Dream World is gone. Aside from Super Contests in Gen IV, I believe this is the only non-main-game thing we've ever seen return across generations, if that makes sense (well, Safari Zone and Battle Tower I guess, but I mean more specialized; something that wasn't in Gens I and II, basically). So, yeah. Here's hoping for some streamlined features: I looked at the Global Link when it first came about, but I never really did much because the reward didn't seem that great. But ever since this announcement a few days ago, I've been rushing to get 100 Pokemon caught in the Entralink so I can get a Medal, and man, this is a lot of stuff to go through: A 24 hour wait for accessing the Dream World here, a 24 separate 24 hour wait for using Game Sync there, a requirement to use Game Sync before going back to the Island of Dreams way over here...
