Favorite Book/Comic

I'm a huge Rick Riordan fan but I also love the Harry Potter series, The Immortal Nicholas Flammel series, the Fablehaven series, and 39 Clues series just to name a few.

^^ I enjoyed all of those books. The only one of those series I can't get myself to read is 39 clues...The changing author thing is keeping me away.Sadly I'm falling behind in The Nicholas Flammel and I haven't been able to read any of The Heros of Olympus books.

BEST. BOOKS. EVER.

  1. Fablehaven
  2. Charlie Bone
  3. Island of the Blue Dolphins
  4. The Secret Zoo
  5. The Maze Runner, and The Scorch Trials ( I'm reading The Death Cure, and I will soon read Killzone! )
  6. Guardians of Ga'Hoole
  7. Hunger Games Trilogy
  8. Series of Unfortunate Events
  9. Warriors

I have a LOT more, those are just some that I thought of off the top of my head.

EDIT: When I see people post books that I have read the list will get bigger. O n O

All those youth reads were great back in the day.

Warriors
Ga'hoole
Series of Unfortunate Events
Fablehaven
Percy Jackson
Ranger's Apprentice

Hunger Games was good too.

And of course HP & Eragon will never get old as they are good enough to re-read indefinitely.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson John Green and David Leviathan
Looking for Alaska John Green
Paper Towns John Green
Under the Dome Stephen King
Duma Key Stephen King
The Maze Runner James Dashner
Catching Fire Suzzane Collins

Anyone ever read "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls?

Great non-fiction.
And by 'great', I mean its a semi-sad memoir but a great read.

Summer reading book.

hate it hate it hate it.

Favorite book is such a hard question. I really liked Unwind and Of Mice and Men. My favorite comics would have to be some Green Lantern, Batman, Spider-Man, and Flash stuff.

Scott Pilgrim is a good series. So is The Series Of Unfortunate Events.
I recently bought all of both of these series from a local book shop to support them from going out of business. It cost me like 80 dollars.

Marvel's X-Factor series (vol. 3), and kid!Loki's Journey into Mystery arc.
As for novels...eh, Palahniuk in general.

The original Sherlock Holmes stories. Oh man, those are just masterpieces. The mystery, the suspense, the joy of catching the perpetrator... I'm getting excited just thinking about it. I don't know how many I've read, but it's definitely a large number.

Not sure which one is my favorite, but Hound of the Baskervilles (it's so damn creepy lol), The Sign of Four (really mysterious, and it's entertaining to hear Watson fall head over heels for Morstan), and A Study In Scarlet (a classic) are up there.

My favorite comic is Calvin and Hobbes. Or maybe Detective Conan. Possibly even Eyeshield 21... you know what, I don't have one :L

My favorite comic series is Tales of the TMNT. I think it ended a few years ago. There was the first run back in the '80s, which consisted of about 8 comics. When the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came back to the comic book world in the early '00s, a new, monthly Tales series was created to kind of complement the regular story comic that would come out every 2 or 3 months, satisfying the wait time for the reader. Tales was an non-chronological series that revisited unresolved stories from previous issues, and sometimes it just simply told a tale from the perspective of a specific turtle or other character from the TMNT universe.
