I updated my username on tumblr and deviantArt. They're now consistent with my Steam name. I'd rather not associate my username with an airplane.
But soon I'm gonna be posting bicep and abdomen studies and then the finished version of this Thea sketch.

Practice sketches. Arms and feet pages aren't ready to show yet ;o
Plus the rough drawing I'm using as an avatar. Getting more and more into drawing sci-fi again which is always a good thing.

Returning to this. Trying to come up with some sort of interesting setting. I know shading adds a lot but I still want to add some kind of interest in the back. Unsure what though.

Remembering how to paint. MGS Ground Zeroes takes way too much of my time. I actually really like the look of this. Only took about an hour. It is another straight forward humanoid shot though so I don't know why I'm so happy.

First one reminds me of Johnny without the hair horns or horseshoe. The second makes me think of a cross between Vash the Stampede and Nemesis T-Type from Trigun and Resident Evil respectively

Drew a little something earlier. I saw a lot of really cool art by Dave Rapoza so I thought I would try some saturated ink-y drawing.

I've learned a lot in the three years since I've started this thread. Only started with a passing interest and a lot of Pokemon is MS Paint and now I'm seriously improving and looking to make a career out of it in the future. Thought I would make a comparison here:

For next year I’m hoping to get a big thing out at least once a month. I’ll post the warm up sketches as these little updates if they aren’t embarrassingly bad. Thanks for the support!

This took about an hour and a half. Nothing impressive, just trying to improve speed and understanding of contrast.
