Introduction:
Hey fellow Beachers, I'm Rotom-Cut. Now if you come and look expecting to see a Little Cup hail team your sadly wrong. I have yet to post a RMT for 5th Generation wating for the right team and time and then striking you with a Unexspected RMT. I have been doing all sorts of weather in 5th generation..I did Hail wayy before 5th Generation in 4th Gen and It wasn't very bad it just couldn't hold it's weight as much as I would like it too. Well now the reason I'm posting here is because I personally think this team has a ton of potiential and I think it can be great after some expert tweaks and other things. I will take everything and anything anyone tells me unconsideration but, if 2 different people give me 2 different options for the same thing I will pick what works best. This team took some time to make and wasn't one of those slopped together teams. This team does have some pokemon I don't think should be here and I need a replacment..thats where you guys come in. Well..enough chit-chat onto the rest of the RMT.

Team Building Process:

Well, you can't build a Hail team without Hail? Am I right? This guy is boss, he shoots'em dead and takes names. You need to base this team around him and keeping him alive and abusing his powers. So you need defense walls for countering his weaknesses.

460.png

First, thought that came to mind was a Bulky Water type taking his Fighting and Fire weaknesses. Well, hmm Quagsire doesn't wall Fighting completely and doesn't set-up some Hazards so no. Then I thought Tentacruel he takes Fire and Fighting like a boss and can set-up T-Spikes as well as blow other Hazards away.

Next I chose Rotom-F him not being used at all I wasn't sure how good he would be but, I chose him anyway because of Levitate and can abuse the Hail with STAB Blizzard. Now I am gonna look over my team and seek my weaknesses out.

After scoping out my weaknesses again I once again was weak to Fire and so I go with a Fire absorber that can pack a punch after getting the Flash Fire boost. So this guy fits pretty well especially carrying Air Balloon because then he's immune to Ground so that also got put into my notes.

Phew, I know your like thank goodness he added a 5th Gen pokemon or else this could've been a 4th Generation team. This guy is my Bulky Attacker that comes in and kills whe needs be. He has weak Sp.D and reaches expectation's on Defense without Bulk up. This guy almost always ends up being my lead for some reason and we'll get into that later.

Oh yeah, Kyruem completes this team fully. He puts everything together and makes you not regret making this team or makes you regret challengeing this team. His speed is good but, not great..his Sp.A is good so this guy puts this team together if he's in the Hail he can about take out anyone you want him. So yes this gives me my starting 6 pokemon and this is how I finished my team the 1st time.

Well, now you notice a small edit in this team. Let's see here, Skarmory cannot be hit my ground moves like Rotom-F. Yet, skarmory can set-up hazards and ruin Baton passing and set-up's and then can also set-up more Hazards which is a big deal with hail because it doesn't have the utter power that Sun, Rain, and Sandstorm have. Skarmory does this guys job so much better I think I'll keep Rotom-F under consideration as of now but, right now Skarmory has my vote.

Bio-Scope:

460.png

Abomasnow @ Leftovers
Trait: Snow Warning
EV's: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 Sp.D
Sassy ( + Sp.D - Spe )
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Ice Shard
- Substitute

Well, well, well isn't it my staple to this team. This guy is excellent at walling alot of pokemon he can even defeat a Heatran and has before. With a Substitute up and then going for the Leech Seed will give you the advantage already against foe's that are neutral. He can Protect and sub again. It's hard to break this guy you need to get him when his Sub is down or you'll never get him. This guys EV's are a Bulky Set. I run the 4 HP from the leftover EV's that are just ditched after the 252 Defensive EV's on both Sp.D and Def. This guy is bulky enough to take some neutral hits and can wall anything that is resisted by him you'll neever defeat him if you have someone that's resisted by him left. I have been suggested a Scarf Abomasnow in OU play atleast and I wasn't liking it because you usually want your auto-weather user to be slower than the foe's auto-weather user, so it didn't make to much sence to me. And if I get those Hazards up that I want Abomasnow can do the rest with Ice Shard quick kill or stall them out with TSpikes + Leech Seed.

dpiconani460.gif
v Top 5 Leads ( I have seen )

vs
dpiconani248.gif

I usually don't stay in because they usually Fire blast if their mixed or Stone Edge if their scarf so I usually go to Tentacruel to possibly get a free layer of TSpikes up or get rid of those Stealth Rocks he might set-up.

vs
dpiconani186.gif

This guy isn't a terrible threat yet SpecToed's sometimes carry Focus Blast so again Tentacruel is my best option here with getting a Free TSpikes once again. Yet, if he does have rain up it is a 3-4 HKO with Hydro Pump but, it's doubtful he will stay in and do that.

vs
dpiconani038.gif

Oh this guy is a threat yet I have never not gotten Hail against this guy because it's overall faster than me. Thei's no way a Ninetales can be slower than me therefore I get weather before he does but, either way he might stay in for the kill but, I either go to Heatran for the Stealth Rock or Tentacruel for the TSpikes either works.

vs
dpiconani460.gif

While on Smogon I see alot of Hail as well as other weather. Well, the same leads vs eachother doesn't really work so I dont send Abomasnow in against opposing Abomasnow I go to Heatran/Conkeldurr either getting rocks or getting the guts activation. Either way it's another win / win situation.

vs
dpiconani437.gif
This guy takes Abomasnow pretty hard with Gyro Ball and Earthquake takes Tentacruel so I always go to my Skarmory to get the Free Spikes off even one layer is better than no layers also Skarmory has Sturdy so it can set-up another either way. Once again this is where Skarmory rules over Rotom-F by resisting Gyro ball Bronzong.

73.png

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Trait: Liquid Ooze
EV's: 252 Def / 4 Sp.A / Sp.D
Calm ( + Sp.D - Atk )
- Toxic Spikes
- Scald
- Sludge Bomb
- Rapid spin

Their really only one counter to this guy not being a success or the MVP and that's Aromatherapy/Heal Bell. Rapid Spinner aren't even terrible for this guy considering most Spinner can be hit hard by Tentacruel. Scald has a decent chance at burning the opponent which can be very good in the end. While this guy can only 1 status no he can give pokemon either Burn or Poison by Toxic Spikes or he can sludge bomb which STAB makes Sludge bomb pretty powerful and give me the edge against neutral foes. Rapdi Spin can take those nasty Skarmory's and other foes. You never want Tentacruel iin against a resiting pokemon that can set-up beileve me their almost no way to kill something that has +1 or 2 in their highest stat. Rapid Spin gets rid of those Spikes and other hazards so they don't efftect my other pokemon late game. This guy can surpirsingly rip through teams unprepared. Liquid Ooze I feel is better than Clear Body because I have had to face alot of Leech Seed Ferrothorn which then Tentacruel gains health from him which is always good when Tentacruel is down to low HP. His Ev's are a Defensive set and giving the 4 Sp.A to give him a tiny kick in his 2 attacks. Overall, I am not willingly to get rid of this because he gives me so much to this team. I don't think anyoone can replace this guy or do the job he does.

227.png

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Trait: Strudy
252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish ( + Def - Sp.A )
- Spikes
- Roost
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind

Skarmory is some more support for this team and plays another role Rotom-F can't play and the reason I switched him out for Skarmory. Now you've seen Tentacruel with his Toxic spikes and now you got Skarmory with his Spikes. After Skarmory getting Spikes up you can then proceed with the common process of Whirlwind. Brave bird is to get rid of those pokemon that have been eaten alive from Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Skarmory is better than rotom-F for so many reason...he is bulkier, can set-up hazards, and can ruin those nasty ole' set-up's. Roost well you gotta know roost is for recovering after being hit from Brave Bird recoil and opposing pokemon attacking because Whirlwind goes last automatically. This metal bird is bulky and a fighter and is some great support for this team. His bulk keeps him alive for awhile and counter all of tentacruel's weaknesses and cannot be hit by ground moves unless I roost. Skarmory excells at stalling pokemon out and can really pack a punch to a team without spinners or Heal Bell/ Aromatherapy.

485.png

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EV's: 4 Sp.A / 252 Sp.D / 252 Spe
Calm ( + Sp.D - Atk )
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Roar

Well, this guy let's say is not a for sure stick in this team. He join it to help out with Fire weaknesses toward Abomasnow. I have tried attacking tran, ScarfTran, SpecsTran, and TormentTran. Now I'm trying out this Specially Defensive Tran which I heard is really good in Dream World yet never heard really about it in Wi-fi but, I decided to try it. ScarfTran is probably the top 3 that worked the best..but, not the best I tested so far. The most consistent set was TormentTran which was useful but, this Specially Defensive is better because he gives me rocks supprort and can roar away baton passing teams. Lava Plume has the chance of burn and I prefer it over Flamethrower and Fire Blast. It has the chance of burn and has STAB with it. I know Flamethrower and Fire Blast are like this but, Laval Plume I prefer over Flamethrower and has better accuracy than Fire Blast. Earth Power is the powerful punch you need late against those nasty Magnezone's and other Tran's. Stealth Rocks is more hazards for my team to set-up and base around. Roar is another move to get ride of those nasty set-up's and baton passing teams.

534.png

Conkeldurr @ Flame Orb
Trait: Guts
EV's: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant ( + Atk - Sp.A )
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Payback
- Stone Edge

Well, hello their. Conkeldurr is my bulky physical attacker on this team. I need this guy because he can come in a kill all those foes that are left with a sliver of health with Mach Punch. I usually like to send this guy in against something that is weak to him so on their switch I can get Guts activated from Flame Orb. Drain punch does a ton of damage and restores me some health. In action this guy has lived a Max Sp.A Starmie hit and killed it with payback and then killed himself with Flame Orb..this shouldn't be wrong because I tested it against someone on Smogon. Anyway, this guy packs a punch with Payback and Stone Edge. This guy is vital to this teams survival and he does struggle sometimes because of how slow he is but, he still outspeeds Reunciulus which is big because he can 2HKO them with Payback. Stone Edge has OHKO Offensive Mixed Dragonites as well as other non-bulky DNites as long as I have Stealth Rocks up if I don't then it doesn't because of their Multi-Scale. Anyways this guy is vital but, I am willingly to replace him if need be. I think something better could go here and possibly their couldn't be anyone better for this postion in the team.

646.png

Kyruem @ Choice Specs
Trait: Pressure
EV's: 252 Sp.A / 4 Sp.D / 252 Spe
Timid ( + Spe - Atk )
- Blizzard
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast

OK, this guy put's this team together. He has massive power with Choice Specs and then in the Hail Blizzard with a 120 Base power already gets powered-up and then with STAB Blizzard is amazing. On Eviolite Porygon2 Focus Blast is a OHKO. This guy is amazing and powerful with Max speed/ Sp.A. His Sp.D EV's are jsut scraps I figured should go their. I mean his Speed stat is only 319 but, in the Hail he OHKO's a Excadrill's and Landorus. This guy's Timid nature is so he's faster than regular Modest Kyruem's on other Hail teams and I prefer Timid on Specs Pokemon. Ice Beam is incase I don't have Abomasnow left or he just can''t come in yet. He isn't very bulky and can't take to many hits but, if he even takes one he usually kills or gets very close to killing. He's strong and I don't think I wanna replace him and people always ask me if I run him. He's definetly a keeper on my team. His typing isn't the greatest beiing x2 weak to Steel and get's OHKO'd by BandScizor Bullet Punch yet, that why I have all my pokemon countering hiis weaknesses besides Abomasnow.

Changes / Updated:
Changed Rotom-F to Skarmory 7/25/10

Threat List:

Minor Threat
Major Thread

Rotom-Wash: This guy pops up alot and I can think of too many counters except possibly Blissey. So I need some help with this guy.

Heatran: If I still have my Balloon on my Heatran he's not a huge threat but, Tentacruel if he has low health then Earth Power can take him and then he becomes dangerous.

Conclusion:
Well, this is the conclusion to my Hail Team. I know it needs quite a bit of work if not alot, I will respect anyone's comments or complaints becuase I know your just trying to help me out with this team. I need some comments and rates because I have full confidence this team can be very good in the future and I want it to be I have spent time working and looking for weaknesses while laddering. I trust you guys will only give me good updates and nothing that will make my team have a major weakness after getting rid of a minor threat. I have consider Blissey a ton and hope you guys can tell me what you think and if he gets recommended instead of someone else I will take it under serious consideration. Thanks for reading....

Special Thanks:
SPM3 for the amazing Banner!
Pe2k for the pokemon Sprites.

YEAH! A Hail Team. I've wanted to build one for a long time. ^_^

Why have Sludge Bomb on Tentacruel when Ice Beam hits Grass types too, as well as Dragons? Poison is a really bad attacking type. So I'd replace Sludge Bomb with Ice Beam on Tentacruel.

I'd also consider Gliscor over Skarmory, who checks Fighting types better, and has Poison Heal to act as a status absorber. Gliscor works really well in a core with Tentacruel.

Finally, consider Hairyama over Conkeldurr. Thick Fat will patch up your Fire weakness. Hairyama easily checks Tyranitar, who stops your Hail storm in an instant. Finally, Force Palm spreads paralysis, making it easier for a Kyurem finish.

You've got a really good start with this team R-C. I look forward to seeing what you can do with it in the future.

Excellent Rate Bippa, I'll consider these changes and test them out. I like the Hariyama idea yet I'm still thinking over the Ice Beam on Tentacruel which does make sence if I think about. It thanks for the rate and I'll make sure to test these pokemon out and see how it works.

The font burns my eyes. You're much better off with Hex over Sludge bomb because it lets you hit Spinblockers.

Any reason it is italicized anyway? It is a little difficult to read. The many grammar and spelling errors don't make it easier.

Hariyama is better than Conkeldurr in this situation, you could run Guts or Thick Fat. Hariyama will live longer with Flame Orb then Conkeldurr, and with Thick Fat your Fire weaknesses are covered much better.

I also don't like that there is only one Ground immunity, when you've got 2 Pokemon weak to Ground, one being x4 weak, and even Skarmory, your immunity to Ground, is weak to it when it uses Roost.

I'd also like to point out that Kyurem is NOT x4 weak to Steel. He isn't x4 weak to anything. Dragon is not weak to Steel.

You're doing the defensive EVs on Abomasnow and Tentacruel wrong.

If you want to max out Defenses, you ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS max out HP First. 252 Def/252 Sp Def is just not a good idea.

I would also, just run Leftovers or Choice Band on Conkeldurr instead of Flame Orb. Burn Damage + Hail Damage at the end of every turn = quick death. Leftovers or Choice Band would allow it to live longer.

You stated you're trying to run a Specially Defensive Tran? Try this:
Heatran @Leftovers
Calm
Flash Fire (obviously)
252 HP/252 SpDef/6 SpAtt
~Lava Plume
~Stealth Rock
~Roar
~Protect/Toxic

I don't really see the point for speed EVs if you're trying to make it a specially defensive pokemon. The extra bulk is going to help you a lot more.

I'm not the greatest rater, but the first thing I notice is that you put a lot of focus on entry hazards, but have no way to prevent them from being spun away. I might replace Tentacruel with Jellicent. Yes, it takes away spinning and Toxic Spikes, but you can also spread status and spin block. Then, I would replace Skarm for Forretress, which gives you the same ability to set up Spikes and TSpikes as well as spin.

Jellicent
Bold @ Lefties
248 HP/216 Def/44 Spe
-Scald / Surf
-Recover
-Will-O-Wisp
-Taunt

Forretress
Sassy @ Lefties/Shed Shell
252 HP/252 SpD/4 Def
-Rapid Spin
-Toxic Spikes
-Spikes
-Volt Switch or something to stop people from setting up on you
