Also probably why iis listing his accomplishments got a bit scoffed at considering he still plays in Seniors while there are good players, the probability of running into a very good player is less compared to Masters. Both metas are also very different.
Alright, having read the article and the last 49 posts, I can weigh in.
First, to answer WPM, I come to Pokebeach.com mostly for the excellent and prompt scans and translations, as well as other news. However I am always interested in reading articles on the game, provided they are well written. I don't have to agree with them (thank goodness, eh?) but an article that can be read without inducing a headache is most welcome.
Second, I enjoyed the article, and it has me re-thinking some things. Like most though, I question the placement, but what is more I question the premise that we are shifting to a OHKO format. There are definitely strong decks that shoot for the OHKO. However, many decks also are able to win with strategic 2HKOs. Max Potion is widely played, but can only run four and playing them effectively can be difficult.
Many decks can cope with them because they score 2HKOs... so the opposing player has to focus on digging Max Potion out from the deck and using it frequently. Some spread or a good Bench hit and Max Potion won't be able to save you... at least for long.
Third, as for Rayquaza EX being the play, I don't think you supported that well enough. It has two distinct advantages over what so far as been the obvious play (Blastoise/Keldeo EX), but it also has several important weaknesses that deck lacks. Of course the actual results are the actual results; the challenges of writing good Pokémon TCG articles are:
1) Being entertaining
2) Being informative
3) Being understood
4) Being accurate
Hitting all four is the goal; that is why good writers are so rare. Plenty of top players have tried to write but they couldn't explain themselves to anyone else.

After doing research on the Regional results, I feel this was a success. Keldeo showed why it was a number one card. Ray/Eels dominated Oregon being 3/4 of the top four decks and had a second place finish in SoCal. As I predicted, Garbador made a surprise presence being 2/4 of the top decks in Missouri. WaterPokemonMaster has big plans on bringing a tcg strategy element to PokeBeach and it will be the #1 source on the internet. yeah your predictions were pretty much spot on which goes to show that you are a good player who can write a good article. However idk if pokebeach articles will be the #1 source because there are alot of other sites that write articles as their main attraction (*coughcouhg6Pcoughcough*) no offense :|

Some of the 6P articles are just merely tourney reports and not that useful stuff. You also have to pay for the really good ones too. Not to hate on them but I find tourney reports the least informative of articles.

How do you determine "number one card"? I ask because at a glance, I am still thinking Mewtwo EX deserves it more for both quality and quantity, but that is just a glance.

They show the Salem, Oregon Top 4 (Masters) as:
1. Ricky Gao - Blastoise/Keldeo
2. Simon Brundage - Ho-Oh
3. Murat Gursoz - Mewtwo/Bouffalant/Zekrom EX/Eelktrik
4. Hanseam Park - Darkrai/Hydreigon
Now, people were running RayEels, because it was seven of the top 32 decks in Masters, but the highest placement was 8th, with the next best 14th, and the final five crowded into the 23rd, 25th, 26th, 28th, and 29th places.
The Long Beach, California Top 4 (Masters) as:
1. Nigel H - Landorus EX/Mewtwo EX/Sigilyph
2. Camilo T - Darkrai/Mewtwo/Bouffalant
3. Chris D - Blastoise/Keldeo
4. David R - Blastoise/Keldeo
but we did see RayEels in the 5th, 7th, 21st, 30th, and 32nd places. Not what you said, but encouraging.

3. Alex Degiacomo - Hammertime
4. Robert Ector - ???
but obviously RayEels could at best have taken fourth here (and the rest of the Top 32 has it sneaking in 31st place.
The last Regional they have info for (at least conveniently listed) is Masters' Final Standings for Sandston, VA are:
Ray Cipoletti - Darkrai/Mewtwo/Bouffalant
Dylan Bryan - Darkrai/Sableye/Garbodor
Azul Garcia Griego - Darkrai/Mewtwo/Bouffalant
Michael Skoran - Blastoise/Keldeo
