(1) The Rise of Darkrai DVD on Sale at Target and Best Buy [5/27]

I am a bit upset about the movie not having any special features. I was really looking foward to it because the Lucario and the Mystery of Mew movie had great extras. I guess we won't be seeing a movie with special features like that anymore though :/
 
It is because of the rising gas and oil prices that the President is harvesting. He has been doing this ever since he cheated his way into office. Until the prices go down we won't see any good things happening like they used to be for a very long time. The TCG has gone up also because of the high prices.:)

PUSA is being very stingy with things. They made the worst Pokérap ever, they refuse to dub anymore ANA shorts, they keep on re-releasing old Pokémon eps into box sets and they still have yet to put any eps from BF onwards on DVDs.
Now from what I remember of VIZ, they tend to put about 3 eps on each disc, so BF and DP episodes better be in a box set.

Yeah, they seem to be getting lazy. The Lucario DVD was probably the best any of the companies released, but then the DVD releases started to go downhill. They don't even include a freakin' card anymore. We need to complain!
 
The Lucario movie was done by 4-kids, and they seem to be better at releasing DVDs than PUSA.
If PUSA just released the mivie, that's fine, but they could've released the rest of the ANA episodes into a box set (since they love doing that).

Another problem is that if PUSA are so buy keeping up with the recent Japanese episodes, they then have no time to dub any ANA eps or add extras to over-priced DVDs.

I agree WPM, and the lack of a promo card is also something I'm definately upset about as well. That was one tradition I thought would never be done away with, PUSA certainly never ceases to amaze. As far as I know even the Manaphy movie (at some retailers) contained the Manaphy DP1 card. =/

Please PUSA give us better releases! I will most definately not be picking this movie up any time soon, no extras of any kind is pitiful. My Japanese copy will suffice, I don't want this hack job DVD.
 
I don't care much for special features, but they should at least put a card in like they used to.
 
I still don't have it yet. :( I'll probably go to the store this weekend and get it. Hope the prices will still be low.

You have to tell them to price check it with the online store. Mine was at $12.99, but other people have said their's was $14.99, and in those cases, you just tell them to check the online store and they'll take off 2 bucks.
 
By the way, what they meant by the description was that "Darkrai rules for all of time," meaning Darkrai is the editor's favorite Pokémon.

(Nah, just kidding. Eevry time I see a ridiculopusly uninformed description, I think of Toys R Us's description for SSBM.)
