(1) The EX’s, Ultra Rares, and Trainers of BW8 ‘Spiral Force’ and ‘Thunder Knuckle’ [12/12]

well you could use zebstrika, but then you have to attack with him, and that wouldn't do much good :|

or you could run 4 plasma badge and some form of trainer retrieval (sableye + Blend?)

yeah that actually sounds pretty decent. I'm beginning to think up a skeleton list here...

pokemon: 9

3 Deoxys EX
3 Sableye
2 Latias EX
1 Darkrai EX

T/S/S: 37

4 Corless
4 N
3 Juniper
3 Ghetsis

4 Ultra Ball
4 Catcher
4 Plasma Badge
4 Plus Power
6 recovery/consistency cards
1 Computer Search

energy: 10

4 psychic
4 blend
2 Prism

free spaces: 4

I'm liking this more by the second... (although it does ave hammertime problems...)

I say:
-2 Prism
-1 Ultra Ball

+4 Plasma Energy
+1 Consistency Card

Acceleration is needed. This will make the deck speedier than with Ultra Ball. The Consistency cards would be 3 Plasma Ball and 4 Colress Machine.

that could actually work considering the fact that latias would be a plasma pokemon... not so sure if I'd go for plasma Ball though since it would only be able to search out deoxys...

Any other search options? That is what I find better. Also Deoxys is a backup attacker so that will help. Also 1 or 2 Mewtwo would be good too though the idea of Darkrai for free retreat is useful and creative IMO. *Proxing cards*

hmm well pokecomm probably isn't the best idea... maybe emolga? I'm really at a loss as to what better search options we might have...

mewtwo would also be nice if I could hit corless machine every time...

I don't think you'd need Mewtwo. Deoxys is probably better at beating other Mewtwo's if you don't run DCE.

Yeah no Mewtwo. This deck needs some switch. Deoxys is a catcher-stall target when you want to attack with Latias. Darkrai helps it but only 1 Darkrai doesn't help so much specially because you need the GRPD.

Klinklang works is with steel pokemon not plasma pokemon. There is Terrakion to hit for 90.
Klinklang's ability translation:

Prevent all damage done to your Metal Pokemon by attacks from your opponent’s Pokemon-EX.

the thing I love about latias though, is that it isn't weak to psychic, so if we could just find a way to add 20+ damage to her attack (Rocky Helmet or aerodactly perhaps?) then she could 2hko every pokemon in the format! (with the exception of Black Kyurem EX and Aspertia boosted EX's)

Altaria?

Altaria is too fragile. It can work in some decks but it is easy to KO. It at least has a 1 retreat cost though. All the ones that can help in damage (Altaria, Aerodactyl and Deoxys) need something else. In Altaria, it needs to evolve; in Aerodactyl, it is restored; and in Deoxys, you need a Plasma Badge attached to Latias. It works well with Deoxys as it can attack cheaply and helps against Mewtwo but need to get Deoxys out of the active spot as most of the time Latias is a better option (only if it is Mewtwo). I forgot that Giratina can OHKO Latias but you can OHKO it back with Latias. A problem with Latias is that you need to attach the 3 energies when the only acceleration needs Plasma Badge.

actually altaria might work since unlike fluffychomp you only need 1 of them in play, meaning you could easily get away with running a 3-3 line... although I still like the darkrai/sableye/plasma badge option... (speaking of which there was 4 free slots in that list so the darkrai count can easily be 2 or 3...)

If I'm not wrong, it doesn't work like that. Latias attack doesn't take weakness into account so it won't do double damage to Giratina...
