(1) 'Pokemon Double Album Box' in August [7/7]

Because we totally need more monkeys.

I don't know why anyone would buy that. It seems we can only get awesome or awful stuff as extras.
 
The promos are useless, and some of the packs are from sets going out of format. It seems like a waste of money.
 
That is awesome. I have been trying to get some of the newer set cards for awhile now. This will be a great way to catch up XD.:)
 
It's not their fault you aren't buying HS undaunted, Call of Legends, Black and White, and Noble Victories packs when they were new. It could have been worse. It could have been Emerging Powers, but fortunately for you, they were in the other box sets.

I bet that there is going to be a box set with a Green Tornado theme deck in it. Oh wait, there is one. Anyway, I bet the Excellent Emboar and Spectacular Samurott box sets won't exist, and only the Superb Serperior box will exist because they need to get rid of all those Green Tornado shelf warmers, or warehouse warmers, or whatever.

What I'm saying is, if you expect a good pack to be in these box sets, then you are expecting a lot from TPCi. The box sets is a way to get rid of packs that don't sell. Little kids love these kinds of things.

Either way, I'm not buying this box. It isn't the packs are bad, it is that I already own a sizable collection of these sets anyway.
 
These are always really dumb and not worth it, so what's new?

People who don't have much from these sets will have a chance to get some more of these cards. Hope this will be a good buy. Also be a ceap way to get some collector binders for more space. Which I need very badly. I only have room for roughly 34 cards in my 2nd binder and 112 cards in my small overflow binder that holds 8 cards per page. 4 on each side XD.:)
 
Laaaaaaaaaaaaaame. Are they seriously printing MORE little monkey cards? ha! Even my 6 yr old nephew thinks those monkeys are boring.

I agree with signofzeta. As a company, TPCi needs ways to get rid of stock and kids are a very easy market (especially considering they are the largest market for Pokémon TCG, I would imagine).

(The only good thing they've ever done for us is the Mewtwo/Darkrai/Rayquaza Tins)
I like the Binders, but the packs (Except NV) Suck and The Monkeys Will Never rule the metagame.
Nuff said.

I mean like 3 packs out of rotation and 3 monkeys...WHY Nintendo? WHY?
 
It's two pack that won't be Modified legal (CL, UD), so what was the third??

This is almost worse than those collector's tins featuring the Sinnoh starters after the DP era.

Them being rotated out a month later is why they're selling them
 
dude, man. They are doing this so they can get rid of old stock, not to print some hyped up cards for your own gain. Little kids love these kinds of things.
