All regular cards from VSTAR Universe have now been revealed! As expected, the main set features reprinted cards from the last year. Some of them feature alternate artwork, like all three Zeraora.
The real attraction of this set will be its secret rare cards. The set will introduce new “Art Rare” and “Super Art Rare” cards. Many of them were already revealed over the last few weeks; the rest will leak by next week when the set hits store shelves in Japan. Stay tuned for a follow-up news story!
The unique cards from this set should become part of our Crown Zenith set, which starts to release in January. Crown Zenith...

So nothing else new other than the Radiant Charjabug (oh and Bidoof lol). Interesting to see alts of Leafeon VStar and the Zeraora V line but no Glaceon VStar or Deoxys V line in the main set.

Huh, weird. The alternate prints of Leafeon V and Glaceon V that were in a product in Hong Kong/Taiwan (still unreleased in Japan) are not in the set.

Also, where are the Rillaboom, Cinderace and Inteleon that will be in our pin collection? If they aren''t sourced from here, where are they from?

Was expecting radiant charjabug to accelerate energy, am very disappointed

With the knowledge of the regular cards of VSTAR Universe, and based on every card we still haven't gotten and the numberings TPC released a while ago, I present y'all the likely setlist of Crown Zenith.

Some observations:

The numberings TPC gave us seem to ignore all the cards that are associated with Paradigm Trigger related products (like the Mystery Box and the Gym Promos). It is likely that TPCi will rearrange the numbers because Absol, based on what they posted, is wrongly placed between Metal pokémon. They might also rearrange the numberings to fit these missing cards in or they might end up coming as promos. The cards that were intentionally excluded from this speculative setlist are:

Ponyta (Gym Promo, Silver Tempest)
Quagsire V (Gym Promo)
Pikachu (Sword & Shield Precious Collector Box, Pokémon Go)
Duosion (Gym Promo, Silver Tempest)
Unown V (Paradigm Trigger Mystery Box, Silver Tempest)

Pancham (Gym Promo)
Galarian Meowth (Gym Promo)
Aerodactyl (Gym Promo)
Lugia V (Paradigm Trigger Mystery Box, Silver Tempest)
Lugia VSTAR (Lugia Get Challenge Campaign Promo, Silver Tempest)
Hisuian Braviary (CoroCoro Promo)
Tranquil Park (Gym Promo)

Cards, adorable but not that great, still will try out, but BIDOOF such a great card, it may not seem like much but bibarrel will get even better which is a term said almost every set now.D4091F9E-0082-4686-B448-B9F211F95589.jpeg

Still hoping for a special card for Fusion Strike Meloetta. It'd be really weird to give one to every other relevant card in the archetype but leave out the one that's best in Expanded.

I really don’t understand why they made Radiant Charjabug so unplayably bad. It had potential but there’s no reason to not let it’s attack inflict weakness and for the ability damage to have to come from energy attached from hand in a Lugia based meta. It could actually be very relevant if it dealt damage for all energy attached with a 60 for 1 snipe. Also with this being the last S&S set it’s unfortunate to see all these V based cards. ex’s won’t take off immediately upon release but a lot of these cards will lose value while they’re still in standard. I think it would have been more interesting to see some rulebox effects instead of pigeonholing just Vs.

A lot of the art cards are beautiful though, I’ll definitely be looking to add quite a few to my collection.

That bidoof is insane, not just because of it's ability, but also because it has a single retreat cost. Combine this with most decks running Serena instead of Boss, and this thing will pretty much always live. This could be good enough to make Zoroark a real deck; or, I could see Lost Box or some other Roxanne-susceptible deck run it.

There isn't one and there is no space for it. There are only 2 ARs we don't know about and they have to be either Dark, Metal or Dragon. I think they might be Zoroark and Magnezone.

Yeah, we've got Mirage Gate & Nova as well, which is why you don't see arctozolt in standard these days. Sad.. ?? You would've thought by now they would have come up with a new ability that punishes a pokemon for simply gaining an energy.

Why aren't V-Onion reprints in this set?? It's like they forgot V-Onions exist.

Radiant Charjabug is such a meme. The only use I see for it is in Jolteon VMAX after Headbutt Tantrum Galarian Zigzagoon and Shady Dealings rotate (the latter making Quick Shooting less valuable, but still probably the best choice for the deck but with Rare Candy now), but by then we'll also have Pokemon ex and the current best V decks can accelerate from deck or discard pile to bypass it if they want (Lugia, Giratina, Mew, and Palkia).

It doesn't inflict weakness on the bench, which is just the typical rule.
