I'm guessing they might need to be at a certain level or have maxed EVs or something, especially with those new minigames that let you EV train. It'd make sense if these are meant to be 'awakened' forms that they'd need to be strong pokemon.

What he's trying to say is it's just very unlikely we'll see a new type, given all the work that would be involved at this stage with every single bit of Pokemon merchandise (not just the vgs obviously) and how competitive play would be affected. It's a lot of extra hassle to put on...

Listen to the wise one. Over-complication for game freak. New types aren't going to happen. Stop trying to make them happen.

The option of anything is always nice, and that would be cool. But i definitely wouldn't use it because it'd detract from the pokemon feel for me :/

Exactly, a nice gimmick area to grind. Skateboards (and maybe a skateboarding pokemon?) would be a nice inclusion too.

A little off topic but.... Does anyone think they'll bring back a cycling road?? Or maybe a rollerblade-only area with rollerblading trainers??

Still, the option would be helpful to some I'm sure, you wouldn't have to use it if you didn't want to. I often forget where I'm supposed to be going in a new Pokemon game if I'm busy and can't play for a few days.

A lot of people are talking about the ugly graphics and rough edges.... But you have to remember the trailer is blown up for the internet.... It should (hopefully) look amazingly sharp and wholesome on your 3ds/xl screen.
