  • It's always about the money with these people. This is exactly the same crap they pulled on us several times before. Perhaps the only difference is that they convinced her main doctor (who, I must clarify, had nothing to do with admitting her to the place this time) that she was too weak and had to stay longer. The therapy part was a given, but they're deeply convinced that she lives alone, hence how she fell and broke her hip to begin with (which was in part my sister's fault because she stays with my grandma during the night to keep an eye on her, but apparently didn't get up to do so the night that she fell).
I've been better. My grandma was supposed to get out of the nursing home yesterday, but the therapy people forced us to keep her in there an extra two weeks so she can supposedly build up her physical strength more. While I agree with the last bit, my whole family has been PO'd because her Medicare won't covering anything past 90 days, meaning she has to pay for the stay with her next Social Security check. My mom was especially upset about that, but there's nothing we can do about it at this point.
Skymin, I'm always able to go to November Regionals since it's close by, but April is the tricky one as it's far away. But I think it was worth it!
Skymin, pretty good, actually! I got back from NorCal yesterday for Regionals, and it was one amazing weekend. I had tons of fun there and I already want to go up there next year!
And I'm assuming "years" was also the first unit of time that came to you, rather than, say, "months"? XD

    You really like smacking people.
Skymin, no worries - better late than never! Nice to see you again, and thank you!
Seven... years? That's more than a while for me.

And yeah, we do tend to look at things differently... though I was a big fan of the first season.
I make a day feel like years so I can enjoy every second. x3

And haha, so it really is good?
Skymin, nothing to do with Santa Claus, hahahah...

I'm doing pretty good too! Life's steadily been improving for me over the past couple months or so; the Pokemon TCG playerbase is as fun as ever and I'm still surrounded by supportive friends - and to top that off, my classes are going well this semester!

    Life's pretty good.
Skymin, an awkward moment indeed! Fortunately I have my cookies set up so that it logs me out when I exit my browser.

Awkwardness aside...hi Shannon! How've you been?
Why don't you want to give up Hope? Hope is such a crybaby. D:

I highly doubt anyone who has never played Final Fantasy 13 would understand what I just said. It sounds like I have no hope to live if taken out of context. XD
