Shreyas, It's worth about 21 dollars, but EVERY deck in the format needs it, so you should hang onto it if you're planning on making a deck.

That's an awesome pull man, nice going. It's one of the more expensive staples nowadays.

Shreyas, Alright, I'll give you a basic idea of what decks are being played. Your friend was right in saying that dark decks are extremely good right now, and that Terrakion is a great way to beat them.

Here's the current best decks, the ones that win nearly every tournament:

Darkrai EX/Landorus EX/Terrakion (with and without Crushing Hammer)
Darkrai EX/Mewtwo EX
Darkrai EX/Hydreigon
Landorus EX/Mewtwo EX/Terrakion
Landorus EX/Tornadus EX (not as good but has still been winning quite a bit)

Here are some decks that aren't at the tippy top but are still VERY good:

Mewtwo EX/Eelektrik
Rayquaza EX/Eelektrik
Keldeo EX/Blastoise
Ho-oh EX/Stuff (can really be put with anything good)
Landorus EX/other fighting stuff/Mewtwo EX/Garbodor

That's a lot to take in, so to start I would look up what each of those cards do that were mentioned. Keep in mind those names are the main aspect of the deck and may include several other cards that are crucial to the deck functioning. After you've read what those do, I'll send you a few decklists so you can get a basic idea of how decks are built.

Shreyas, You thought right. Playtcg.com is literally Dueling Network for Pokemon, except less advanced (don't worry, it still works perfectly well, but it doesn't have all the fancy animations and stuff like the automatic draw at the beginning of your turn.)

To get started, make an account at bebessearch.com. Click "Decklists" and create your deck (if you want any deck ideas, just ask). After creating your deck, you can log into playtcg.com using your bebessearch account. Just join a game or create one yourself, and you're all set.
