  • You click on Register. Checkmate is just a server for when the main one is down.
It's VERY simple to do a duel, whether you mean hosting or actually dueling. Just a few things you should know.

    * If you hold the 'A' key, you can chain something that can currently chain to something. The program is pretty good about this, though, but it's just nice to have a bit of extra insurance. You can also hold the key to give yourself a chance to check the field.
    * I'm pretty sure there's also a key to hold (I think it's 'Z' or 'S') if you don't want the program to ask you if you'd like to chain or activate something. It could be useful if you draw into Maxx "C" in your starting hand and don't want your opponent to know you have it when the game asks you if you'd like to use it during their standby phase.
    * Right-clicking is a quick way to click on "No" when a box pops up asking if you'd like to chain, activate an effect, etc.
    * If you saw a card being searched out but didn't have enough time to see what it did, go to the card log tab, find the card in the list of events, and click on it to look at what it is.
I drew my former avatar on it http://colorslive.com/details/1657024 I prefer Traditional drawing but that's just me. Colors3D is a very great drawing app for the 3DS it has a lot of tools, layers, and the color wheel is great then you can upload your artwork online and someone can watch your drawing from the start. And yeah I like Batman because he is Batman but it was really the game and the movies that made me a fan.
Okay so far as handheld goes I haven't took PokemonBlack2 or Y out in months so...But I do love playing Super Mario 3D land and getting the big coins. I mostly like using Colors3D app and the Pokedex3D pro app. And I'm not a DC person I just really love Batman.
Well since you don't play any new pokemon games anymore have you ever played Batman Arkam City? Are you a fan of DC?
DNA, Mondays are the bane of existence... But now that I've crammed four hours of extra tutoring in there, I harldy have time to not do anything.
    Pre-September 2013 Dragon Rulers
Well, the first thing that came to my mind was Evols. You COULD try running Inca Dragons with Artifacts, but whatever you do, include Absorbing Jar.
Clearly, the odd games are the best. Maybe the first game isn't super amazing, but it sets the groundwork for the whole series, introduces a lot of characters and such, and Mia's death in Case 2 is still the most impactful death in the whole series. Plus there's the warming of Edgeworth and the setup for that relationship. I guess this doesn't bode well for the next sequel...

I agree with AA2 being kind of lackluster, though the last case with Engarde was pretty great. AA3 is very hard to top, though; the whole game is just mindblowing, but especially the cases with the Dahlia plot line just stand out. I think it's still my favourite, but it's very, very close.
Heh, I kind of ran into the chronology problem myself (AA4 vs AAI) recently, but had the decision made for me when my copy of AAI took a while to deliver (when I played it before, I borrowed it from a friend), so my choice was to either wait or play AA4 first, and I opted to not wait.

I think I like the tone of AA5 in general a lot more than AA4. AA4 got kind of dark for no real reason, and skimped on a lot of the characterization (or ignored it, in the case of Phoenix) and such that was so prominent in the earlier games. It's not a bad game, it's just clear they tried to take it in a very different direction. Much of that was changed in AA5, which seemed to allow the series to mature a bit while still sticking closer to its roots rather than veering off to the side. (I had a similar squee moment when I saw Ema again. <3)

For the shouting bits, are you holding down the button? You're supposed to hold down, like, Y or whatever to activate the microphone when Objectioning, etc. I didn't realize this myself until I saw Hubby playing; I never tried shouting myself, instead preferring to hit the buttons.
AAI is definitely different enough that doing it on your own could be fine. I kind of wonder what your dad will make of 4, since it's such a big dynamic shift. I think I'm actually enjoying it a lot more now than I did the first time, mostly because I feel like I got to know Apollo a lot more in 5; I kind of feel like he doesn't get as much characterization in 4. And even though Gumshoe is gone, the return of Ema is pretty excellent, and it's hard to not love Fulbright, so that's a nice plus too. And he'll get surprise Edgeworth at the end too. :D I do hope we see a return of Gumshoe at some point, though; I love the new detectives we've gotten, but it's sad to not see him around.

PS: My husband always does the voices for trial mode, like, the parts where you can shout out and use the microphone instead of hitting the buttons. It's super cute. >.>
