Abra, Kadabra, and Alakazam from Mega Symphonia!

Abra, Kadabra, and Alakazam have been revealed from Mega Symphonia, which releases in Japan on August 1st. Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia will combine to form the majority of the international set Mega Evolution, which releases September 26th.

Kadabra - Psychic - HP80
Stage 1 - Evolves from Abra

Ability: Psychic Draw
When you play this Pokémon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon during your turn, you may draw 2 cards.

[P] Super Psy Bolt: 30 damage.

Weakness: Darkness (x2)
Resistance: Fighting (-30)

Alakazam - Psychic - HP140
Stage 2 - Evolves from Kadabra

Ability: Psychic Draw
When you play this Pokémon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon during your turn, you may draw 3 cards.

[P] Hand Power: Put 2 damage counters on your opponent's Active Pokémon for each card in your hand.

Sword and Shield actually. Interesting card, but previous versions of this ability weren’t played a lot, at least from what I’ve seen (I never saw the Crobat from SWSH get played). First thing I think of though is Tinkaton ex + This

I think Kadabra is draw 2 cards when you play it from your hand to evolve, and Alakazam is the same but draw 3.

Alakazam attack is place 2 damage counters on your opponent's active Pokemon for each card in your hand. At least, I think it's active Pokemon - if it's anywhere then it's infinitely better, otherwise a bit underwhelming (but the Alakazam line is always cool nonetheless).

And the Kadabra and Alakazam are like Golbat and Crobat from Battle Styles, not from Sword & Shield, which doesn't even feature the Crobat line.
 
This is just a flat image, I think the Alakazam will look great with those psychic rainbow colors in holo.
