The dual sets Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia were just officially revealed at Japan's Champions League tournament!
As we posted months ago, they will release on August 1st and feature Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir ex. Each set will include 63 cards before secret rares. We first discovered their trademarks six months ago.
These are the first sets of the new MEGA block; the TCG has officially left Scarlet & Violet to promote Legends: Z-A.
The sets will introduce full art Item cards, including Rare Candy and Night Stretcher! Only gold versions released before.
The sets will also continue to feature Illustration Rare cards -- Bulbasaur, Vulpix, and Inteleon were revealed.

Premium Power Pro
Mega Signal - Trainer
Item
Search your deck for 1 Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your deck.
You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn.
Wally's Compassion - Trainer
Supporter
Heal all damage from 1 of your Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. If you do, put all Energy attached to that Pokémon back into your hand.
You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn.
Lillie's Determination - Trainer
Supporter
Shuffle your hand into your deck. Then, draw 6 cards. If you have 6 Prize cards remaining, draw 8 cards instead.
You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn.
Mystery Garden - Trainer
Stadium
Once during each player's turn, that player may discard 1 Energy card from their hand. If they do, that player draws cards until they have as many cards in hand as they have [P] Pokémon in play.
You may play only 1 Stadium card during your turn. Put it next to the Active Spot, and discard it if another Stadium comes into play. A Stadium with the same name can't be played.
We last saw the Mega Evolution mechanic in 2016 during the XY era. At the time, the TCG was not using pre-evolutions for Pokemon-EX -- they were all fully evolved Basic Pokemon. This meant Blastoise-EX evolved into M Blastoise-EX without Squirtle or Wartortle involved. Your turn also ended upon evolving them so they wouldn't be too overpowered.
The new Megas now evolve from their last pre-evolution, if any. Ralts evolves into Kirlia and then into Mega Gardevoir ex. Spiritually this isn't how the mechanic works in the games, as Mega Gardevoir should Mega Evolve from Gardevoir. But to do that under the current TCG would mean Mega Gardevoir ex would have to be a Stage 3, which wouldn't work.
Instead of your turn ending, the new Megas now give up three Prize cards instead of two.
For each set there will also be a "Pokemon Center Mega Set" box releasing for 12,800 yen. Each will come with two booster boxes of its set (60 packs), a card storage box featuring Mega Lucario or Mega Gardevoir, four card dividers, a deck box featuring Lillie or Acerola, and card sleeves featuring Lillie or Acerola.
As posted before, a "Premium Trainer Box MEGA" will release alongside the sets for 6,350 yen. This is the typical tookit that comes with a variety of staple cards. It comes with ten packs each of Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia, 172 total cards (51 unique), a card storage box, a coin, damage counters, a damage counter case, and a Poison/Burn marker.
The updated Basic Energy design for the MEGA block was also revealed from the Premium Trainer Box:
