TCG Trademarks for ‘High Class Pack’ and ‘High Class Deck’ Filed! By: Water Pokémon Master Posted 3 weeks ago to TCG 11 comments Two new trademarks have been filed for the Pokemon TCG — “High Class Pack” and “High Class Deck.” “High Class Pack” precedes the titles of special sets like TAG All Stars or GX Ultra Shiny, the latter of which became our Hidden Fates. It’s been used many times in the past. “High Class Deck” hasn’t really been used before. We’re not sure if these will be specific sets / products or if it’s simply a way for Pokemon to trademark its product terminology. Usually trademarks are discovered five to six months before they’re used on products. This means we would see products with these titles around summertime. There will be a special 25th anniversary set in America this fall, so these trademarks could have something to do with it.
If "high class packs" are slightly more expensive packs with a guaranteed V/Vmax, I wouldn't mind. My wallet would, however...
I think we're all going to be. Way too much this year and not enough self control to stop me from emptying my wallet
PLEASE NO ZARD PLEASE NO ZARD PLEASE NO ZARD PLEASE NO ZARD PLEASE NO ZARD... I want to have a fair shot at getting these packs, PLEASE!!! I swear to God, they'd BETTER not...
Saying "It's too expensive, I cannot afford it" shuts down your brain. Instead, saying "How can I afford that?" opens up creativity, opportunity, and excitement!! They have been making a living since Base Set and Jungle released.
It honestly probably doesn't matter if Charizard is in the set or not for people to scalp it. As long as the set has something "special" about it it's going to be scalped.
