Tyranitar and Pupitar from ‘Eruption Walker!’

As we knew from the set’s booster pack, the Tyranitar line will be included in Eruption Walker. The set releases in Japan on April 24th.

This is the first regular Tyranitar to ever be Fighting-type! Dark Tyranitar was Fighting-type in 2002’s Neo Destiny and another Dark Tyranitar was Dark/Fighting in 2004’s EX Team Rocket Returns.

Pupitar – Fighting – HP80
Stage 1 – Evolves from Larvitar

[F] Sand Spray: 20 damage.

[C][C][C] Rocket Evolution: 40 damage. Search your deck for a card that evolves from this Pokemon and play it on top of this Pokemon to evolve it. Then, shuffle your deck.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 3

Tyranitar – Fighting – HP180
Stage 2 – Evolves from Poopootar

[F][C][C] Bedrock Breaker: 120 damage. Discard a Stadium in play.

[F][F][C][C] Mountain Swing: 250 damage. Discard 5 cards from the top of your deck.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4
