So much Plasma Gale news today!
CoroCoro magazine has revealed Lugia-EX (#059/070) from Plasma Gale as well as a new Trainer – Colress Machine (#062/070) – and a new Special Energy – Plasma Energy (#067/070). Their translations are below courtesy of Patrick; click the thumbnails for larger images.
Like React Energy from EX Legend Maker, it seems that Team Plasma Energy will be used in the effects of some Plasma Pokemon’s attacks, as seen on Lugia-EX below. Colress Machine will support the use of Plasma Energy, essentially giving you an additional Energy attachment for the turn.
Lugia-EX’s Overflow ability is very similar to Salamence LV.X‘s Double Fall Poke-Power from Arceus, though Lugia’s works at all times and not just when you play it down from your hand. If Lugia-EX is facing a Pokemon-EX and knocks it out, you take a whopping three prize cards!
Lugia-EX – Colorless – HP180
Basic Pokemon (Team Plasma)
For each of your opponent’s Pokemon that is Knocked Out by damage from Lugia-EX’s attacks, take 1 more Prize card.
[C][C][C][C] Plasma Gale: 120 damage. Discard 1 Plasma Energy attached to this Pokemon or this attack does nothing.
When Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: Fighting (-20)
Colress Machine – Trainer
Item (Team Plasma)
Search your deck for a Team Plasma Energy and attach it to one of your Pokemon with “Team Plasma” on its card. Shuffle your deck afterwards.
You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).
Plasma Energy – Special Energy (Team Plasma)
This card provides 1 [C] Energy.
