Philly Fall Regs thread w/ Info

Here in NE most of the good people moved up (most notably Thomas Arena and Paz Garcia-Greigo). Really the only good people here anymore are me, Henry Chao, Collin Giguere, and Aaron Clarke. Not even sure if any of them are going.

All in all, doesn't really seem like there will be all that much competition.

What good juniors are coming in? Is Sidney moving up? I know the great NJ/NY juniors (Brendan Z., Jack Kolbert, Devon) aren't.

Sidney isn't moving up actually and Micheal is moving up he's really good.
 
are you talking about seniors meta? Because I'd expect more Hydreigon and Rayquaza/eels (specifically that deck) if it was masters... :|

Edit: also I think you guys will still have more than 80 seniors, think of all those little Juniors that will be losing badly moving up to seniors.

From what I've seen, it will probably be something like:
40% Eels
25% Hydreigon
15% Other Darkrai stuff
20% Everything else

My battle roads were pretty uneventful.
 
Trying to figure out the exact meta won't work out, like I said before. Just know that the primary decks will be RayEels, Mewtwo/Eels, Garchomp, Hydreigon and Mewtwo/Terrakion.

and don't go "oh juniors" with me because it's still a difficult accomplishment

Not saying Juniors are good in general, but to say Sydney "isn't good" is first of all just straight up false because she players better than half the Masters that I know. It's also just disrespectful.

anyways, if I had to guess what the meta would be I'd say something like this:

30% Hydreigon
20% Rayeels
15% zeels
10% Fluffychomp (or the non fluffy version)
10% Garbodor
10% anything else
5% durant (wow, he's not anything else :p)

It probably wont turn out that way, but if I had to guess, this would be it.
 
Don't see how it beats Darkrai tbh. Then again never tested soooo yeah.
 
just using theorymon here, but I think you just super load a mewtwo or use tool scrapper/raikou to 2hko darkrai, they'll either have to max potion every single turn, or get ko'd (it's hard to use max potion more than 2 turns straight if you run 4...) then just tank with your own eviolite/max potion...
