Why do people use 2 Zekrom and 2 Zekrom EX in a Zekeels deck?

Are you only allowed to have 2 of the same Pokemon EX in your deck? I don't think that the ordinary Zekrom is very good. :/

You are allowed to have four of each in one deck.
However, Zekrom BW has Outrage synergy and powers up more quickly to do more damage, so people will run it. It also does not cost two Prizes on KO.

i think its better
3 energy to attack as opposed to 4

doesnt have to worry about recharging after attacking
outrage is a great attack

and it doesnt give up 2 prizes on a knockout

130 is plenty to kill most things. Zekrom EX is just to get kills on Eviolite'd things, and to double PlusPower KO a Mewtwo EX. At least thats what I use it for.

^plus, since it discards energies, it is not revenge killed by Mewtwo EX that easily...
