What was your first slasher flick?

@Mods: Yeah, yeah, I know there's already a horror film thread, but this is specifically for good gory slasher films, screams and all! Plus that thread is most certainly not, not a favorite thread.

Anyway, what was your first slasher flick? Mine was (inspiration for this thread) Halloween II (2009). I haven't even watched the first one, but I watched the second last night all spooky and dark! Some people prefer the classics like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street (remake coming for that one, too) but, I like the newer bloodier ones.

Side Question: Which death scene do you think is the best, and from what movie (hypocrisy)?

Mine was the Bathroom scene in Halloween II, so freaky!

What is the difference between what you are expecting to be mentioned and what is showing up under the horror flick thread?

There's a difference between the two.

Slasher = Psychos with knives/chainsaws/etc.

Horror = Supernatural stuff like demons and ghosts

So therefor, slasher films =/= horror films.

(PS: No SAW movies, please, they aren't slashers.)

I feel the two threads to be far too similar to need separation. While you pointed out the differences, there's not a need for an additional thread for the few dissimilar things. *Lock*
