Those cards are awesome especialy the charizard card. I think that is the best card yet out so far since the base one but I like them all anyway.:)l

I really like Charizard, but Salamence just puts him to shame. Salamence isn't shut down by Battle Frontier. Salamence has a first attack that it can use to recharge itself. Salamence's second attack only needs 1 metal. And Salamence only discards 1 metal instead of all. The only downsides are it has 10 less HP and does 20 less damage. The disadvantages don't drown out the advantages of using Salamence over Charizard though.

Charizard's main use is it's "Howl"-like ability. It can stock up on Electric energy cards in a hurry. Still, the fact that the PokéPower coincides with the legendary Zapdos' Pokémon Power in the TCG game for GameBoy bothers me. Peal of Thunder in the GB game does 30 to a random monster in play when Zapdos is played. This Peal of Thunder is completely different. I would have liked Howl much better. We all know that this Charizard will be worth a lot, like all other Charizards in the past, even though this one isn't very good overall.

We can only guess what cards will be in the set. I am hoping for some trainer reprints, because we badly need shuffling power for the next format. I wonder if there will be any monster reprints? Chances are, we will end up with cards that are Promo's in Japan, as usual.

Grass=Poison+Grass' weakness

Simple.

Hiya,

Well...Sceptile is weak to Poison type...Since there are no Poison type, they just going to have to put [G]...Same goes to Venusaur.
Can't wait for Sceptle...I got evil stuff planned. ;)
Hehehe...

cya.

Greaat cards...but Sceptile has a weakness to grass...and that's because POISON type Pokémons are grass too. So, Sceptile = Weakness to poison!!

i dont think we will be getting any new cards. The kyogre and groudon decks should be in this set. Which have 16 cards each some repeats of trainers between the two so we should see most of those cards.

75- set
16- Kyogre deck
10-Groudon deck (6 are repeats from kyogre deck)
=101 cards, either one card is made into the box topper or a trainer is not in the set.

the sceptile is good but its dumb that its body affects itself. the charizard isnt that good, its power is only a one time use.  cant wait till the pre release. I really hope they reprint alot of the trainers like celio cause i dont have any and i really need them.

At least you don't need to worry about celio's...It is reprinted in trainer kit 2.

About that charizard...I have a question: If you have fore example 2 holon's Magneton on it, then you don't need to discard anything, right?
