Aaaaaaand now I have seen some XY Pokémon (I barely knew any before I posted a list). Could I change it to suit my new likings?

No. The reason I am disallowing edits is because

1) It keeps it really hard for me to keep the rankings updated, especially if people don't tell me they edited (I would have made that a requirement), and more importantly

2) allowing edits lets people alter their lists to swing votes one way or the other.

The second bit I realize is impossible for people who vote later on because they can see the lists that everyone else has posted, but if someone posts a list that is based on Pokemon that are winning/losing instead of Pokemon they really like, they're really cheating themselves instead of everyone else.

This has still been going great. Over two hundred Pokemon have been nominated and there have only been three idiots so far! Well done, the rest of you!

Thank you all for your nominations. In total, 244 Pokemon were nominated. But only the top 32 Pokemon with the most votes can move on.

There were 20 Pokemon who had three votes each, which put us past the top 32 allowed. To decide who would advance, I put them all into random.org, and the top 12 from that list advanced. Without further ado, the top 32 combatants:
