would poison/burn damage initiate sudden death?

Example.
1 prize card left each. i attack leaving my opponent with 10HP and poision.
there turn they kill me get their last prize card. would i then get my last prize when they die of poision damage?

and in this situation does it go to sudden death?
1 prize card left each. im using Electivire triumphant. (50 damage to each opponents pokemon that has energy attatched.
they have active electrode SF. i have tentacruel on my bench with 10 HP left.
I attack killeing 3 of my opponents pokemon taking my last prize card. bu then cause i hit their active electrode my tentacruel dies giving them their last prize card.
does it go to sudden death or do i win cause i actually killed 8 pokemon in total?

In the first situation: If your opponent ends up killing you before they die of poison damage in between turns, it won't initiate Sudden Death. They drew their last prize on their turn. You would only draw a prize card after their turn is over, which wouldn't happen.

In the second situation: You take everything into account. After you KO your opponent's Pokemon (and hit Electrode), Radiance kicks in immediately, KOing your Tentacruel. You both draw your prize cards at the same time. If, at this point, you both have 0 prizes left (and you both have Pokemon still in play), Sudden Death begins.
