Ruling Shiny Pokemon sleeves

Ok. So I know the rule for sleeves at tournaments are either single colored sleeves or Pokemon themed sleeves. But while I was at Nats I got told to switch sleeves because Mine were like really sparkly and shiny. So If I were to buy sparkly Pokemon sleeves would they still be allowed since they're Pokemon themed?

TO's discretion, really. If the sleeves are especially refractive you may be asked to change them. (By the way, regardless of whether they are Pokemon-themed or not, the sleeves must still have a solid border all the way around each sleeve.)

Most Pokemon theme ones are just fine. There was some debate about the professor sleeves but they were deemed legal to use. If you hold the card at an angle and can easily view the image of the card the sleeve is too shiny.~Mark
