farve doesn't suck because of his stats, this isn't about stats or performance, this is about what he's doing, he's turning the nfl into sellout's and fossil's, I wanna see new player's make there mark not some old fossil topping there old career stats to just make a few extra dollar's.

You think Favre is too old to play? Was Hall of Famer Warren Moon too old to play when he retired at the good age of 44? George Blanda retired at the age of 48. So who's to say Favre needs to retire at the youn age of 40? He's still better than the majority of the QB's out there. Thats like saying ok, you're 15 years old, you're too old to play TCG's now, you must quit. Thats a comparison I could make to your argument. If you can do it, then do it. Favre is probably still a top 5 QB in the current times, and until he drops off, I can see him coming back.

Now if its about his constant retirements, well he's only pulled it 3 times. And according to what his agent had said, the first time was due to the packers wanting to pay him to retire just so Aaron Rogers wouldn't be such a dud for them. Look at the Patriots, every year Junior Seau retires every year, this year is his 4th or 5th retirement now. And I can guarentee he'll probably be back next year.

That's not what he's saying. He's saying that it gets old seeing Brett Favre year after year and his constant attention by the media. He's saying nothing regarding him being too old to play. You know what, though? I would have to agree with him on his point. It is tiring seeing him all the time.

I wanna see the Saints win because I'm kinda sick of seeing the Payton Manning's... I mean Colts be so successful

I see more media attention on Tom Brady and the Mannings. Before Favre started his retirement string, the packers were always a playoff team, but always looked over. Like here where I am, Cleveland area, the packers were never getting televised until after Favre left GB. Why is that? The pressure was put onto Aaron Rogers to perform because people finally started to show appreciation for the things that Brett had accomplished. Reason he gets thrown in the lime light is because of a HOF worthy career....

Now why does Tom Brady get thrown into the lime light? He's the typical QB of the new era, a pretty boy who marries a model. Its what most teams look for now. Hence why the Browns were more apt to draft Brady Quinn in 2007 over Heisman winner Troy Smith.

Or would you rather like a guy like Chad Ochocinco who is always talked about for his on field show boating. As well as crazy personality. Maybe even Michael Vick, always under close eyes since coming outta prison. I prefer Brett over all the above, except maybe Ocho. Because this past halloween he went out as Chad Johnson and came home as Chad Ochocinco

Good points. A lot of NFL players think that because they do what they do, they're able to get away with anything they want. Favre has to be one of the most humble players in the NFL today.

The Saints did pretty awesome today at the Super Bowl. Peyton Manning was tearing a little after they lost.

Yeah it was and EPIC win for the Saints. I am so glad they won because not only was it well deserved but also it is the best thing since Hurricane Katrina.:)

Yeah.I'm glad.They were 10 down in the begining.However they pulled back fro a 31-17 win! :D

WOO SAINTS. I am glad they won the Superbowl, especially since it was their first appearance in the Superbowl. Also, I bet a dollar so it's win-win. ;D

They really wanted (and deserved) the win yesterday. They played well in both aspects of the game. Does anybody have a comment on the superbowl or how both teams played?

I think the saints had a very strong comback. That touchdown ran from a far long away was cool.I was cheering "Run Forest.Run!" The whole time as a joke.Besides I think the saints palyed well.

Peyton threw one bad pass which you can't squarely blame him. Reggie Wayne messed up on his route and Tracy Porter stepped in front of it.

That was the nail in the coffin. And Peyton probably knew it.

However that big dogpile gave me a lol.Saints got it though. That 2 point interseption was also fun for me and my dad. :D

That's right. During school today, all I heard from the colts fans was:
"PEYTON CHOKED. He choked, choked, choked." He played fine by me, I don't think either team could have done that much better.
As a side note, I was laughing like crazy at the doritos commercial(s).

I thought the bud lite ones were more funny. Yay the saints won!

Peyton didn't choke. Every QB throws one bad pass in the Super Bowl (whether it'd be a pick or a pass that should've been intercepted/caught).

But, Peyton's already one of the best QB's of all time. A second ring would just fancy up his first ballot, Hall of Fame resumé.
