XY RIP Generation 4 / 5 Wi-Fi (Termination of Nintendo Wi-Fi connection service)

Uh, finding new servers won't help as the games would have to be patched to connect to the new server. DS and Wii games are not patchable, unfotunately. So Nintendo doesn't really have a choice.

I don't get how these legendary pokemon have anything to do with the wi-fi shutting down. They were all event ones and when the events ended, you couldn't get them anyway, wi-fi or not. If you have them, you can still transfer them from RSE up to XY, so I see no problem there.
 
As you see these 5-6 legends can no long be obtained unless you know someone close by who has them since now you can only get them through wireless and not Wi-Fi. If something happens with your current 4th or 5th gen games and you have to get them restarted there is no way to save those legends on your dex again without an AR to hack them.:)
