MODS MAY LOCK IF THEY THINK THAT THIS THREAD IS POINTLESS (they will anyway)

Here are the masters winners.

Zekeels
Zekeels
Zekeels
Zekeels
Zekeels
Zekeels
Zekeels
Durant.

sooooooo many zekeels...

Thoughts?

Also half of the top cuts were Zekeels mirror matches.

I'm pretty surprised almost none of the other decks won. I was expecting at least one CMT. I knew many were going to top cut but not that so many would win.

Sorry kidlets. I lost to durant in finals. Despite these results, I think that CMT actually dominated regionals. There was not a single Zeels in T4 No-Cal and CMT just had a better showing overall than Zeels. These results are not representative of the format... by a long shot. CMT was the best play for regionals and I still hold by that.

I do think that CMT is a good deck. No question. However, you say this because CMT topped in 1/3 of the spots in Norcal Regionals. However in most other regionals the count was even or in Zeel's favor. And as you see, Zekeels has been beating them. This however could be because Zekeels is a good deck against CMT...

It goes back and forth. There's no clear winner, although the results say Zekeels.

Hah, I was at the one Regs where Durant and not Zekeels won. It was weird; I saw so many Zekeels and Durant there that day - during my Swiss I battled 3 of the former and 4 of the latter. The only other round, #1, I fought Hypno/Musharna - the wildcard of the set. I was disappointed I didn't see more variety either, but given how things went at CA States for me, I shouldn't be too surprised.

I really wanted Zero to win in top 2, but oh well. 2nd place isn't bad!

Woohoo Ruben and Ricky made top 4!
(Before Top 32 started, I found out Ruben was the only guy undefeated in Swiss; that was pretty awesome.)
