Can you play cards like this if you can't fulfill what it tells you to do? etc. you don't have any other cards left on your hand.
And can you do the things your told to do and then not pick a card after you've searched your deck?

If you can't pay the cost, you can't use the card. You are allowed to fail a serach even if a correct target exists, but if the card has a cost, you must pay the cost first.~Mark

If however the card from your deck is ANY card, then you HAVE to take 1. A specific search can fail, but a search for anything will work (unless you have no deck)

I'd also like to note that you cannot fail Pokemon Trader just to put a card back into your deck. Since the card says to trade cards, you do not put your Pokemon card from your hand into your deck, unless you take another Pokemon card from your deck into your hand.
